BTS (Bulletproof Boy Scouts) successfully finished their two-day Tokyo Dome performance. BTS will hold their world tour 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN JAPAN' at Tokyo Dome on the 17th and 18th of this month. This will be their first full group performance in Japan in about seven years since the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF' – JAPAN EDITION' tour in July 2019. All tickets were sold out, and 110,000 ARMY (BTS fans) filled the venue over the two days. This performance adopted a 360-degree open stage that minimized the boundary between the audience and the stage, featuring Korean elements throughout. The show opened dramatically with members appearing among masked dancers, performing songs from their new album 'ARIRANG' such as 'Hooligan' and 'Aliens.' 'Run BTS' raised the venue's energy to its peak right from the start with an impressive performance. Powerful songs like 'Not Today,' 'MIC Drop,' 'FYA,' and 'Burning Up (FIRE)' resonated throughout the venue. Particularly during 'MIC Drop,' cheers calling out each member's name created a sense of unity in the dome. In 'IDOL,' members walked through the audience to interact with fans. Additionally, hit songs like 'Butter' and 'Dynamite' were performed for the first time on a Japanese stage, reaching a fever pitch. Towards the end of the live show, original Japanese songs were also performed, moving the fans. BTS expressed, 'Even though it has been a while since we came, we received energy from the unchanged cheers and smiles. We missed you.' They also shared, 'Every time we come to travel, I think about how you all live while seeing these landscapes. I am really happy and honored to be able to come again. Thank you for waiting for us, I love you from the bottom of my heart.' This Tokyo Dome concert was attended by Japanese celebrities such as Takaaki Tsukaji from Drunk Dragon and Tetsuya Bessho, who shared their impressions on his radio.
