ONEW’s 4th Japanese single, "KAKERA -Fate’s Piece-," is out, featuring original songs, covers, a download campaign, and concerts.

At last, today (the 16th), SHINee’s Onew’s 4th Japanese single, "KAKERA -Unmei no Piece-" ("KAKERA -Piece of Fate-"), was released. This work was produced with a puzzle motif, and when the jacket photos are connected, it becomes one complete picture, making it a playful work full of ingenuity. In addition to the title track, each edition contains one coupling track each, and together with the title track, it includes three original Japanese songs and two cover songs. The title track, "KAKERA -Unmei no Piece-," is a straightforward love song in which, while feeling the miracle and happiness of having met the person destined for you, one tries to convey that joy directly to the other person. Just as happiness is the accumulation of small pieces of happiness hidden in everyday life, it is a love song in which one gathers pieces of happiness with the person destined for you and feels fate even more. The track on the O edition is "Tock-Talk." The title "Tock-Talk" is a coined word created within this song through wordplay, and it contains the message, "No matter how noisy the world keeps talking, I want to cherish my own rhythm and time." The track on the N edition, "Spring Rain," expresses the time the two people shine within the filter of spring rain. It is a song like a determination to live together, cherishing the beautiful time reflected in the eyes—sky, rainbow, flowers, and everything else. As the track on the E edition, Aoi Teshima’s "Ashita e no Tegami" ("A Letter to Tomorrow") is covered, and as the track on the W edition, Kirinji’s "Aliens" is covered. Both songs match Onew’s singing voice with a warm yet nostalgic atmosphere. Because the included songs differ depending on the edition, the work has been completed so that one can feel Onew’s various charms throughout all of them. A download campaign will also start from 6:00 p.m. on September 16 (Wednesday). Attention is being drawn to the luxurious bonus items. On September 22 (Tuesday, national holiday) and September 23 (Wednesday, national holiday), "2026 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE: Q] IN JAPAN" will also be held at the Main Arena of Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. SHINee’s Onew announced a comeback for October 20 by releasing a trailer for his first single album, “Illusion,” on his official YouTube channel. It is his first release in about seven months since his fifth mini album, “TOUGH LOVE,” and it will feature three title tracks.
SHINee’s Taemin released his new mini album “PHASE 1: Soft Violence,” a work built on the contrast between “soft” and “violence.” The album explores beauty’s tension, contradictions, and hidden cruelty, and includes 11 tracks, double title songs “FLOAT” and “Gooey,” and a new MV for “FLOAT.”
SHINee’s Minho presents a deep narrative of love and farewell through his 2nd mini album, Make it hot. The album includes the sensual yet refreshing pop dance track “Liquid (Feat. BELLE of KISS OF LIFE),” the medium-tempo R&B song “Ending Scene,” and the Afro-house-based “Love Me Now.” The teaser image, released on the 27th, shows him creating a unique mood against a sunset-lit island backdrop. The album will be released on September 7 at 6 p.m. through music streaming sites.
