ONEW’s 4th Japanese single, "KAKERA -Fate’s Piece-," is out, featuring original songs, covers, a download campaign, and concerts.

At last, today (the 16th), SHINee’s Onew’s 4th Japanese single, "KAKERA -Unmei no Piece-" ("KAKERA -Piece of Fate-"), was released. This work was produced with a puzzle motif, and when the jacket photos are connected, it becomes one complete picture, making it a playful work full of ingenuity. In addition to the title track, each edition contains one coupling track each, and together with the title track, it includes three original Japanese songs and two cover songs. The title track, "KAKERA -Unmei no Piece-," is a straightforward love song in which, while feeling the miracle and happiness of having met the person destined for you, one tries to convey that joy directly to the other person. Just as happiness is the accumulation of small pieces of happiness hidden in everyday life, it is a love song in which one gathers pieces of happiness with the person destined for you and feels fate even more. The track on the O edition is "Tock-Talk." The title "Tock-Talk" is a coined word created within this song through wordplay, and it contains the message, "No matter how noisy the world keeps talking, I want to cherish my own rhythm and time." The track on the N edition, "Spring Rain," expresses the time the two people shine within the filter of spring rain. It is a song like a determination to live together, cherishing the beautiful time reflected in the eyes—sky, rainbow, flowers, and everything else. As the track on the E edition, Aoi Teshima’s "Ashita e no Tegami" ("A Letter to Tomorrow") is covered, and as the track on the W edition, Kirinji’s "Aliens" is covered. Both songs match Onew’s singing voice with a warm yet nostalgic atmosphere. Because the included songs differ depending on the edition, the work has been completed so that one can feel Onew’s various charms throughout all of them. A download campaign will also start from 6:00 p.m. on September 16 (Wednesday). Attention is being drawn to the luxurious bonus items. On September 22 (Tuesday, national holiday) and September 23 (Wednesday, national holiday), "2026 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE: Q] IN JAPAN" will also be held at the Main Arena of Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. With CD releases and concerts, expectations continue to build for Onew’s various activities in Japan going forward. SHINee’s Taemin has postponed the North American leg of his 2026–2027 world tour, LiMiNaL, because U.S. visa and related administrative procedures remain unclear and are affecting production staff. The tour is not canceled, and new dates and venues are being arranged. Ticket refunds are available.
Venue101 EXTRA leaves Studio 101 for a special two-week NHK Hall recording. Week 1 features live performances by Da-iCE, M!LK, ONEW, and Ado? No, New School Leaders, plus a drawing contest and a gesture game, with guest-seat appearances by Ayumu Imazu and ≒JOY.
Kim Jae-won successfully concluded his first solo fan meeting in Japan at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on September 20. He walked through the venue singing Vaundy’s “Tokyo Flash,” handed flowers to fans, shared photos and stories from Tokyo and his dramas, and performed songs by Taemin, Yeonjun, and CORTIS. He also recreated a scene from “Yumi’s Cells 3” as Shin Seung-rok. He is set to release the film “Final Interview” in Korea in November.
Venue101 EXTRA is a special live music program from Venue101, recorded at NHK Hall and broadcast over two weeks. WEEK1 on September 26 features performances by New School Leaders, ONEW, Da-iCE, and M!LK. WEEK2 on October 3 will also include Ayumu Imazu, ≒JOY, BALLISTIK BOYZ, and M!LK, with crossover appearances by performers from both weeks.
On the afternoon of the 15th, at Incheon SSG Landers Field, the 2026 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League game between the SSG Landers and the KIA Tigers was held, and SHINee’s Minho appeared to throw the ceremonial first pitch.
