BABYMONSTER has unveiled the first personal visuals that allow a glimpse into the concept of their 3rd mini-album 'CHOOM', raising the heart rates of music fans worldwide. Today (the 13th), YG ENTERTAINMENT posted '[CHOOM] VISUAL PHOTO' on their official blog. The visuals of Asa and Chiquita, shot with a novel mugshot concept reminiscent of a breaking news screen, have finally been revealed. The charismatic gazes of the two members staring directly at the camera exude a strange tension and cool aura. Asa radiates a unique presence with short hair styled in a red halter neck, while Chiquita showcases her distinctive kitsch charm with a look that adds fur accents to a vividly colored top. Leaving a strong impact with a bold concept, the English phrase inscribed on the panel is also anything but ordinary. The witty phrase 'Charged with a crime of dancing too excitedly' further heightens expectations for BABYMONSTER's new musical world to be unveiled in this comeback. BABYMONSTER will release their 3rd mini-album 'CHOOM' on May 4 at 6 PM, starting their comeback activities with the title track of the same name. YG stated, 'As the title suggests, this album captures exciting moments where music and dance become one.' Additionally, BABYMONSTER will embark on their second world tour starting with a performance in Seoul in June, followed by a grand expedition across six cities in Japan (Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, Osaka), and then to five continents including Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America. Notably, the Seoul performance, which is the starting point of the tour, has sold out, once again proving their overwhelming ticket power.
