
ZEROBASEONE once again proved its presence as a global artist. ZEROBASEONE participated in “KCON LA 2026,” held in Los Angeles, U.S., from the 14th to the 16th local time. They appeared as the headliner of the main stage on the second day. Wearing special outfits in collaboration with Swarovski, they showed off glamorous visuals. In addition, they drew a strong response by unveiling the stage performance of “Exotic,” a track included on their 6th mini album “Ascend-,” for the first time. They also presented unit and solo stages that made use of each member’s individuality. Sung Hanbin, Seok Matthew, and Park Gunwook showed a different kind of charm with a cover of Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack,” Kim Jiwoong performed his solo song “CLOSER,” and Kim Taerae presented IU’s “Love wins all” in his own style. They also proved their solid performance skills through full-group stages such as “TOP 5,” “Doctor! Doctor!,” “V for Vision,” “SLAM DUNK,” and “Zero To Hundred.” In particular, Sung Hanbin also served as MC as the global ambassador for “KCON LA 2026,” showing stable hosting skills. Also, on the first day’s main show, Park Gunwook performed “Rush Hour” by CRUSH together with TREASURE’s So Jung Hwan, who is the MC of Mnet’s “M COUNTDOWN,” and KickFlip’s Gehun. Seok Matthew appeared as a guest on chef Edward Lee’s talk show. The two talked about Korean food, and they even personally put together a playlist perfect for street stalls and performed a surprise live. Through “KCON LA 2026,” ZEROBASEONE interacted with global K-pop fans in various forms, from headliner performances to special stages and talk shows, proving their high popularity locally.
ZEROBASEONE will hold a free live today at Cinecity Square in front of Shinjuku Tokyu Kabukicho Tower to celebrate the release of their Japanese 2nd EP, "Kika LOVE." The show is scheduled to start around 7 p.m. and will be all-standing. A special guest may also appear. They released the EP yesterday, along with the music video for the title track "Existence," and will appear on Fuji TV's "Poka Poka" tomorrow.
On the morning of the 19th, ZEROBASEONE left for Japan through Gimpo International Airport for their schedule. Today, they released their second Japanese EP, "Rekigai LOVE." They are also set to appear on Fuji TV's "Poka Poka," airing on the 21st. The title track "Existence" has been pre-released, and Omoinotake members provided the song.
