GOT7's Jinyoung performed a warm good deed. Yesterday (13th), NGO Save the Children revealed that 'Jinyoung conveyed a sponsorship of 50 million won (about 500,000 yen) for music education support for overseas children to commemorate the release of his solo mini-album 'Said & Done'. This sponsorship will be used for music education projects for overseas children lacking educational infrastructure, providing opportunities for children to discover their potential through music and grow in a stable environment. Jinyoung, who initially sponsored 30 million won (about 300,000 yen) for children affected by the 2023 Turkey earthquake, was appointed as a member of the 'Owners Club', a gathering of high-value donors for Save the Children. Subsequently, he sponsored 30 million won for support for victims of the Myanmar earthquake in 2025 and 100 million won (about 1,000,000 yen) for meal support projects for children in South Korea. Including this latest sponsorship, his total donations have reached 210 million won (about 2,100,000 yen). Choi Ji-won, head of the Save the Children philanthropy team, stated, 'Music is an important medium that nurtures new possibilities and self-esteem in children,' adding, 'Jinyoung's warm sharing will become a solid foundation for children in need of music education to discover their talents and nurture their dreams.'
