Kim Yoo-jung and GOT7’s Jinyoung will present a thrilling spy romance. tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “100 Days of Lies” recently unveiled a poster that stirs excitement with the close distance between Lee Ga-gyeong (Kim Yoo-jung) and Kim Tae-woon (Jinyoung), as if they are about to touch. “100 Days of Lies” is a spy romance that depicts the dangerous and thrilling love between the best thief in Gyeongseong, who infiltrates disguised as a translator intern at the Japanese Government-General of Korea, and a man who is the adopted son of the Minister of Government Affairs and the newly appointed translator at the Government-General, as well as their wish for independence. This work has been scheduled as a special project drama for tvN’s 20th anniversary, deepening its significance. Director Yoo In-sik, who has produced many hit works such as the “Dr. Romantic” series and “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” is in charge of directing, and he has teamed up with writer Ryu Bo-ri, who has been loved for her delicate writing in works such as “Do You Like Brahms?” The co-starring of Kim Yoo-jung and Jinyoung, who are expected to complete perfect chemistry, is also expected to be a viewing point that should not be missed. Kim Yoo-jung plays Lee Ga-gyeong, who infiltrates disguised as a translator intern at the Japanese Government-General of Korea from being Gyeongseong’s best thief. Her hatred and resentment toward her mother, who suddenly disappeared one day, eventually connect to her dream of going to the United States, and while desperately saving money for that, she becomes a spy for the anti-Japanese organization Gukgundan. Jinyoung plays Kim Tae-woon, the adopted son of the Minister of Government Affairs and a translator at the Japanese Government-General of Korea. Fluent in a total of three languages—English, Japanese, and Korean—he returns to Joseon after 10 years, following his father. The recently released poster of Lee Ga-gyeong and Kim Tae-woon captures the two in an ultra-close moment, raising heart rates. Inside the office where they are alone together, only awkward silence and a strange atmosphere drift. In the midst of this, Kim Tae-woon, without taking his eyes off Lee Ga-gyeong, approaches, and Lee Ga-gyeong, avoiding his gaze, involuntarily steps back, creating excitement. In particular, the phrase directed at Lee Ga-gyeong, “Please try telling the truth, even if only once,” which is unclear whether it is a warning or a request from Kim Tae-woon, heightens the tension and arouses curiosity. The production team said, “Lee Ga-gyeong and Kim Tae-woon become entangled by lies they each do not want exposed and do not want to believe. The process in which feelings born within lies change into sincerity directed at each other will deliver both excitement and heart-stirring emotion at the same time.” “100 Days of Lies” will premiere in Korea on October 10 at 9:10 p.m.
