As a DJ and producer, R.Tee's music video 'DAMDADI' has been embroiled in plagiarism allegations, leading director Hong Min-ho to apologize. On the 13th, through Achilles Film's Instagram, director Hong Min-ho stated, 'It is true that I was inspired by Yseult's work and her directing style,' and added, 'I have deep respect for Yseult and the directors she has worked with, and this respect naturally influenced various visual ideas in this project.' He continued, 'I sincerely apologize for the points where some scenes were expressed in direct similarity to her original work, and I am very sorry if this caused discomfort to Yseult and her team.' Director Hong emphasized that R.Tee and Soyeon bear no responsibility, stating, 'The concept and direction of this music video were entirely under my responsibility, and artists Soyeon and R.Tee had no involvement in the creative policy or reference selection process.' He added, 'In the future, I will strive to conduct more careful research in the creative process and to show clear respect to the original creators and artists who have inspired us.' Recently, French singer Yseult pointed out the similarities between her music video for 'BITCH YOU COULD NEVER' released last year and R.Tee's 'DAMDADI' released last month. Yseult expressed discomfort with Hong's comments, stating, 'This is not about inspiration; it's about plagiarism. Please don't change the words.'
