SHINee's Key has issued an official comment regarding the illegal medical practice allegations related to Mr. A, known as the 'Injection Aunt' by comedian Park Na-rae. On the 17th, SM Entertainment, his agency, stated, 'First, we sincerely apologize for the difficulty in making a prompt statement due to the need for communication with multiple parties related to overseas tour schedules and activities.' They clarified that 'Key visited the hospital where Mr. A works upon a recommendation from an acquaintance.' They continued, 'Key has been receiving treatment at the hospital and has also had several home visits for treatment when it was difficult to go to the hospital. He recognized Mr. A as a doctor and did not consider home treatment to be a problem, especially since there was no mention from Mr. A. Key recently learned for the first time about the controversy regarding Mr. A's medical license and is very confused, deeply reflecting on his ignorance.' They also stated, 'Key recognizes the seriousness of this matter and has decided to withdraw from his scheduled activities and ongoing programs. Once again, we sincerely apologize for causing concern to fans and everyone involved.' Park Na-rae has recently faced allegations of power harassment, unpaid expenses, and special injuries from former managers. They have revealed plans to file a lawsuit for damages amounting to 100 million won (approximately 1 million USD) against Park Na-rae in the Seoul Western District Court.
