"So, Let Snow Man Do It," which is broadcast every Friday night on TBS, will air a two-hour special starting next Friday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m., featuring the popular segment "Dance Copy Revolution." In "Dance Copy Revolution," contestants compete to see whether they can perfectly copy choreography that everyone has seen at least once and dance it through without making a mistake. This time, it will be a three-way showdown between Snow Man, the all-star past MVP team of dance-copy, and the STARTO dance selection team! The past MVP team led by Ryota Miyadate is a gathering of past MVPs: Iroha of ILLIT, who is making an emergency appearance from Korea; Harumi Sato and Anna Ishii, former members of E-girls; and Yuno, who competed in a world dance competition as "BUMPY" together with Raul. The STARTO dance selection team will feature, for the first time from the junior ranks, Hikaru Ukisho of ACEes, Fumito Kawai, Kento Senga of Kis-My-Ft2, Kaito Miyachika and Kaito Matsukura of Travis Japan. Members known for their dancing will cross group boundaries and spark off against each other under the banner of "Defeat Snow Man." In this dance-copy battle as well, there will be a succession of superb dances, from nostalgic famous songs that colored the Heisei era to the latest viral songs of the Reiwa era! And as guest performers for a collaboration with the original artists, =LOVE will appear with all members present. ILLIT will appear for the third straight year, while BABYMONSTER and CORTIS will make their first appearances.
ILLIT continues rapid growth, setting a new first-week sales record with its 5th mini album BREAK EVEN. The title track “You’re Under Arrest” is charting strongly in Korea and worldwide, while its music video and short-form content are also drawing major attention. The group is gaining buzz through performances and TV appearances.
ILLIT energized Yonsei University’s festival with a setlist including “You’re Under Arrest,” “Magnetic,” and more. They used whistle props, delivered stable live vocals, and drew loud cheers with a playful lyric change for students. Their new album and older songs are also charting and streaming strongly.
ILLIT’s Wonhee appeared on JTBC’s morning news program “Morning &” as a one-day weathercaster. She blew a whistle used as a prop in the new song “You’re Under Arrest,” introduced ILLIT’s comeback with the 5th mini album “BREAK EVEN,” and explained the title track’s warning message. She also reported cold temperatures and strong winds in some areas and advised viewers to dress warmly.
ILLIT made a powerful comeback, topping Hanteo’s daily album chart with 382,991 first-day sales for BREAK EVEN, their best opening yet. The title track rose quickly on Korean charts, while in Japan it also charted on LINE MUSIC and AWA. Its MV passed 4 million views in 12 hours, drew attention in 19 regions, and sparked fan theories. WONHEE also appeared as a weather caster on JTBC’s Morning &, adding to the group’s buzz.
