Mnet's 'BOYS II PLANET' once again showcased a drama of tears and cheers. In the 7th episode aired on the 28th in Korea, 48 participants poured their heart and soul into the stage, resulting in unexpected ranking changes with all-stars and two-stars. After fierce competition, the teams for H1-KEY's 'Rose Blooming Between Buildings', ALLDAY PROJECT's 'FAMOUS', and Stray Kids' '樂 (LALALALA)' secured first place, earning 50,000 benefit points. This broadcast featured all nine stages except for the one released last week. The vocal position team for 'Run to You' (SEVENTEEN) completed a perfect harmony through the earnest challenge of Sen and the stable lead of Yoonmin. Master Baek Gyu-young praised them, saying it felt like watching an animated film. As a result of the on-site voting, Yoon Min was promoted to all-star. Meanwhile, Kang Woo-jin showcased impressive singing skills but recorded the lowest score in his team. The 'Rose Blooming Between Buildings' team faced numerous challenges during practice but overcame them with passion and teamwork, delivering a sweet stage. Particularly, Park Jun-il was selected as an all-star for the first time and shed tears. The stage of 'BREATHE' (Lee Hi) performed by VERIVERY's Kangmin, Kehyun, and Joanshin left a deep resonance with their heartfelt singing. The last team to perform, 'Queencard' (i-dle), presented an innovative stage with band sound arrangements and Lee Rio's guitar performance, receiving a great response. Jung Sang-hyun, who showed instability during the mid-check, transformed dramatically with Lee Rio's advice and encouragement from team members. While Jung Sang-hyun and Kim In-hoo ranked first and second, the anticipated leader Lee Rio recorded the lowest score, shocking everyone. In the rap position, Lee Chen and Yeom Ye-chan stimulated the audience's dopamine with their fierce diss battle and hip-hop performance in 'Smoke (Prod. Dynamicduo, Padi)', with Yeom Ye-chan earning all-star status. In the 'FAMOUS' stage, after intense competition, Kim Jae-hyun perfectly handled the killing part and was promoted to all-star. Kim Tae-jo showed growth with a performance that conveyed his feelings through lyrics, captivating the audience with the distinct personalities of the three performers. In the dance position, WEi's Kim Jun-soo, Park Dong-kyu, and Masato exuded intense sexiness in their stage of 'Bad' (Christopher), captivating the audience. Park Dong-kyu, who actively participated in choreography production, narrowly advanced, creating tension. The 'Tambourine' (Eve) team overwhelmed the audience with high-quality production and excellent teamwork from the start, resulting in Chen Kai-wen and Zhang Jiahao being selected as all-stars. However, the team leader Yumeki recorded an unexpected lowest score, leading the members who built the stage together to shed tears, leaving a strong aftertaste. The final '樂' team overwhelmed the venue with an original concept incorporating storytelling based on werewolves. Ho Xinlong perfectly handled the killing part, maintaining his all-star position. Leader Kim Gon-woo also showcased a stable performance with evident growth, while Fan Joy also made a presence. However, Zhao Guanshu and Chen Bowen unfortunately remained with low scores, resulting in no changes in rankings. Nevertheless, they defied expectations and claimed the overall first place, defeating the 'like JENNIE' team. The 24 survivors advancing to the semi-finals will be revealed in the 8th episode of 'BOYS II PLANET' airing on September 4th (Thursday). Anticipation is high for which participants will realize their dreams of debuting as members of a K-POP rookie boy group.
