Actor So Ji-sub and 2PM's Taecyeon’s agency 51K called for fans' attention regarding impersonation damage. On the 5th, 51K announced through official SNS, 'Recently, there have been frequent fraudulent activities impersonating our company and our managers to gain financial benefits, so we ask all fans to be particularly careful.' According to the agency, the suspects are soliciting paid membership subscriptions and establishing opportunities for meetings with affiliated actors and participation in events. 51K emphasized, 'Our company does not issue membership rights under the names of affiliated actors and will never request money or goods under any circumstances.' Furthermore, they stated, 'All such requests constitute illegal acts, and if impersonation is suspected, we hope you will not respond and immediately report it to the police and our company,' clarifying their policy to strictly address impersonation and fraudulent activities. Recently, there have been a series of impersonation damages in the Korean entertainment industry. Cases of impersonation have occurred involving actors Kang Dong-won, Kim Seong-ho, singer Sung Si-kyung, Lim Young-woong, and even popular variety shows like KBS 2TV's '1 Night 2 Days' and SBS's 'Running Man'.
