Lee Han-gyul will release his first solo album bearing his own name, nine years after his debut. Lee Han-gyul recently revealed the jacket photo for his 1st mini album “NOISE” through official SNS and announced that he will make his solo debut on October 14. After debuting as IM in 2017, Lee Han-gyul has been active as a member of BAE173, X1, and POLARIX, and in August he signed an exclusive contract with ORCA MUSIC, foreshadowing his solo activities. The revealed jacket of “NOISE” expresses as-is Lee Han-gyul’s dignified spirit, which appeals to his one-of-a-kind musical individuality through tough and unconventional typography. From “LEE HAN GYUL,” engraved in a thick, dynamic font at the lower right, one can glimpse the proud identity and strong will as a solo musician. The album title “NOISE” contains the meaning of announcing a start to deliver Lee Han-gyul’s voice more loudly even amid the clamor. It expresses the process of not silencing the world, but of making his singing voice heard more clearly by muting other people’s gazes and prejudices and maximizing Lee Han-gyul’s potential and expression. On September 11, he released the promotion timetable and entered full-scale comeback countdown. He plans to sequentially release various teaser contents until October 14 and actively communicate with fans around the world. Lee Han-gyul revealed through a live broadcast that this album has a high degree of his own participation and that he is looking forward even more to meeting fans. He said that he will sequentially enter comeback promotions from now on and showed motivation for new activities.
