NCT members sent off Jaehyun for his enlistment. Yesterday (4th), photos of Jaehyun at the enlistment site were posted on NCT's official SNS. The first post included a short comment saying, 'Recalling the memories we made together,' along with images of him. Despite wearing a hat and mask, his clear eyes showed the presence of a visual member of a popular idol group. Another post captured the NCT members seeing him off, attracting attention. Members including Taeyong, who is currently enlisted, and overseas members Ten and Johnny, as well as Jungwoo and Doyoung, all bid farewell to him. The members placed their hands on Jaehyun's shaved head, smiling playfully and creating a warm atmosphere that highlighted their friendship. Prior to this, Jaehyun posted photos on his personal SNS account. He shared a picture of himself cutting his blonde hair, which he dyed during solo activities, along with a comment saying, 'Looking forward to the journey ahead.' He also formed the characters for 'enlistment' with his cut hair. He enlisted in the Army Band yesterday afternoon (4th). His entry was conducted privately without a special official event. Jaehyun is the second member of NCT to fulfill his defense duty, following leader Taeyong, who enlisted in April. Taeyong is currently serving as a Navy musician. Taeyong's discharge date is scheduled for December 14, 2025, while Jaehyun's is set for May 3, 2026.
