Jaehyun is the second member of NCT to fulfill his defense duty, following leader Taeyong, who enlisted in April. Taeyong is currently serving as a Navy musician. Taeyong's discharge date is scheduled for December 14, 2025, while Jaehyun's is set for May 3, 2026.
