Dawon of Cosmic Girls revealed the process and episodes of her solo debut. The magazine 'Rolling Stone KOREA' published a gravure shoot and interview with Dawon in September. In the released images, she exudes captivating and intense charisma with long blonde hair and heavy smoky makeup. With particularly impressive eyes and dynamic poses, she demonstrated a presence that could be called a 'gravure master.' The photos, blending a healthy and toned body line with stylish charm, elicited a passionate response from global fans. In the post-shoot interview, she spoke about her first digital single 'gonna love me, right?' released in September. When asked about the differences between Dawon as a member of Cosmic Girls and as a solo artist, she replied, 'In the group, I was the cute youngest sister, but standing alone, I realize it is not easy at all.' She added, 'Thanks to the efforts of the staff who believe in me and run together with me, I am able to stand here. I want to repay that effort with good results.' Dawon's first digital single was produced entirely in America. She revealed, 'I have loved pop music since I was young. I have steadily learned songwriting and composing for three years, and I have continued to learn English and music with the hope of someday producing in America.' She further stated, 'I am still learning and want to create my own color and style within the music I love.' Dawon expressed her dream of becoming an artist with a unique sound that people think of when they hear 'Dawon style,' hoping her music will widely penetrate the pop market. She shared her struggles while preparing for her solo album, saying, 'The most frequent thought was, 'Is this really okay?' There were constant choices and doubts, and I often had to redo and reflect. At times, it felt like a collection of emotions with question marks, commas, and sometimes exclamation points. Becoming a solo singer means not just standing alone on stage but also being 'the person responsible' throughout the entire production process.' Finally, regarding her goals to achieve before the end of this year, she said, 'Through this album, I want many people to feel, 'Dawon has this side to her' and 'She can express these emotions and colors.' She added, 'I want to always move forward so that people will say, 'I want to see what kind of story the artist Dawon will show in the future.' More gravure and interviews capturing Dawon's diverse charm can be found in issue 15 of 'Rolling Stone Korea.'
