2PM’s Wooyoung will hold a solo concert. JYP Entertainment, his agency, recently announced that Wooyoung will hold a solo concert touring four cities in Korea and overseas. It will be about one year since he last held a solo performance in Korea, since “half half,” which was held last September. According to the poster released through Wooyoung’s official account, Wooyoung is scheduled to hold a total of seven performances in four cities in and outside Korea, starting with the Seoul performances on November 14 and 15, then Hyogo on December 25 and 26, Tokyo on January 9 and 10, 2027, and Taipei on March 20. The news of this solo concert was first revealed through Wooyoung’s personal YouTube channel, “JangWooyoungE.” In content released last month, Wooyoung met with his piano teacher and shared his concerns about music. Wooyoung said, “I am planning to hold a solo concert around mid-November. I will prepare for the concert through the YouTube channel ‘JangWooyoungE.’ I want to include talk about the performance in this as well.” He continued, “I think it would be nice if there were a theme song for ‘JangWooyoungE.’ My first goal for this performance is to play the theme song of ‘JangWooyoungE’ on the piano. My second is to make one new song and present it for the first time.” He also expressed his determination, saying, “I definitely want to show jazz hip-hop, which is a genre I like, in the performance. I want to not only dance to jazz hip-hop on stage, but also deliver it as music. I have never properly played the piano at a concert, so I really want to try doing it properly once.”
