One Hundred directly denies the claims of the entertainment tech company knowmerce regarding the concert streaming contract for THE BOYZ, showing a strong stance. Hyun Dong-yeop, the legal representative of One Hundred and CEO Cha Ga-won, stated through an official announcement yesterday (15th), "We express deep regret over knowmerce's claims and plan to take strong legal measures." First, One Hundred claimed that there were serious issues with knowmerce's technical capabilities and service stability. Furthermore, they pointed out that during the live service of the fan platform 'Fromm' previously operated by knowmerce, server failures occurred even with about 1,000 simultaneous connections, causing service interruptions, and despite requests for corrections after equipment overheating incidents, no improvements were seen. They emphasized that the upcoming concert 'INTER-ZECTION' for THE BOYZ is an important performance expected to have a large number of simultaneous connections, stating that entrusting the artist's stage to an unverified unstable system is a deception towards fans and constitutes managerial negligence. One Hundred also raised concerns about knowmerce's communication attitude during the concert preparation process, stating, "During the preparation process, knowmerce refused smooth communication and maintained an insincere attitude," and that the fundamental breakdown of trust in a situation requiring close cooperation constitutes a clear reason for breach of contract. Therefore, One Hundred decided to collaborate with a company that has a highly stable streaming system to ensure fans can enjoy uninterrupted high-quality video. One Hundred explained, "This is not just a vendor change, but a rational business decision aimed at guaranteeing fans' viewing rights and ensuring the quality of the performance." Regarding knowmerce's claims, they also referred to forensic results. One Hundred stated, "After confirming the KakaoTalk exchanges with the representative of knowmerce through private forensics, it was confirmed that many of the claims currently made by knowmerce clearly differ from the actual facts," and added, "We will respond to the dissemination of false information with a principle of no mercy." Finally, One Hundred stated, "Based on the evidence already secured, we plan to take all legal measures, including civil and criminal actions," and emphasized, "To protect the artists and fans, we will clarify the truth until the end." They also expressed their desire to thoroughly manage and successfully hold THE BOYZ's concert to deliver an emotional experience to fans, apologizing for the confusion caused and promising to respond with the best stage and perfect streaming service. Prior to this, knowmerce had stated, "We signed an exclusive contract regarding the online performance streaming of THE BOYZ with One Hundred, led by Chairman Cha Ga-won, and paid money. However, despite this contract, we received a unilateral notice of refusal to perform the project from One Hundred. Subsequently, One Hundred began selling concert streaming tickets with other companies."
