&TEAM released their first mini-album 'Back to Life' in Korea on October 28 (Tuesday), which topped the U.S. Billboard 'Emerging Artists' chart on November 25 (Tuesday). This is the first time &TEAM has ranked on the U.S. Billboard charts, achieving the remarkable feat of simultaneously ranking on five charts including 'World Albums' (5th), 'Top Current Album Sales' (12th), 'Top Album Sales' (13th), and 'Artist 100' (78th). &TEAM, which has successfully debuted in Korea, has made significant progress towards realizing their 'Japan to Global' goal. The U.S. Billboard 'Emerging Artists' chart selects promising new artists based on various data including streaming, album and music sales, radio broadcast metrics, and social media reactions. &TEAM released their debut work in Korea, the first mini-album 'Back to Life', on October 28 (Tuesday), and began its release in the U.S. on November 14 (Friday). Following the release, the number of global listeners on streaming services doubled, and the title track 'Back to Life' recorded approximately 2.4 times the maximum listeners on Spotify and about 3.8 times on Apple Music compared to their previous title track 'Go in Blind (Tsukikami)'. U.S. economic media Forbes reported that they are 'one of the most talked-about groups', increasing their visibility in the U.S. With their first entry into the U.S. Billboard charts, &TEAM is rapidly enhancing their presence in the global market, significantly contributing to their 'Japan to Global' goal through their Korean debut. &TEAM's third single 'Go in Blind (Tsukikami)', released on April 23, 2025, surpassed total shipments of 1 million copies, achieving their first 'Million Certification' in the July Gold Disk certification, proving their immense popularity centered in Japan. Additionally, their debut work, the first mini-album 'Back to Life', achieved a million sales on the first day of release according to the Korean Hanteo chart, selling a total of 1,222,022 copies within the first week (October 28 to November 3). This made &TEAM the first Japanese artist to achieve a million sales in both Japan and Korea, rapidly rising to a top-tier group. Furthermore, their momentum continues as they are set to make their first appearance at the '76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen' on New Year's Eve and receive the 'Special International Music Award' at the '67th Japan Record Awards', marking a year of leaps and bounds for them in 2025. As an artist starting from Japan, &TEAM is making a significant mark on the world, and expectations for their future are high.
