IU revealed the reason why she enjoys concerts at her own expense. In the 135th episode of the YouTube channel "TEO" released yesterday (14th), IU, Byung Woosuk, Kong Seungyeon, and No Sanghyun appeared in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama "The Great Lady of the 21st Century." In the released footage, IU and TWICE's Jeongyeon were mentioned. Jeongyeon's sister, Kong Seungyeon, said, "Jeongyeon watches 'The Great Lady of the 21st Century' because IU is in it, and she is a really passionate fan. She shows her albums and says not to touch them." She added, "Fortunately, she said she secretly came to TWICE's concert while filming." In response, IU explained the situation at that time, saying, "I love TWICE too, so I went to support them," and that Jeongyeon sent her a DM afterward, which she didn't notice until Seungyeon told her on set. Seungyeon said, "(My sister) said, 'I really want to invite her, but can you talk to her? I sent a DM,' and I replied, 'Do you think I can see your DM? How many DMs do you think I get?'" This made everyone laugh. Chan Doyoung, who was watching, revealed, "Even if they offer her tickets, I heard IU always buys her concert tickets herself." IU explained, "Watching performances is a learning experience for me as someone who also performs. I secretly go and enjoy everything." She continued, "Since then, I've been trying to watch as many performances as possible, including those of TWICE and EXO's D.O., as it helps relieve stress and heal me." Seungyeon added, "I wanted to give her an invitation, but she had already bought her tickets," proving her sister's dedication to watching 'The Great Lady of the 21st Century' from start to finish. IU humorously mentioned, "My brother hasn't even watched 'Goodbye.' He said he can't watch it at all, especially during the part of Geum-myeong (IU), as it gives him PTSD."
