Today (3rd), on MONSTA X's official X (formerly Twitter) account, they posted, "Members gathered to celebrate Minhyuk's discharge ♥ MONBEBE (fan name), thank you for your support during our time apart." A group photo of the members was shared, showcasing their more dignified appearances. Minhyuk posted a discharge commemorative photo on the official account, saying, "I have safely completed my service and returned! I kept my promise to come back healthy, so shall we start a new journey together?" He also mentioned, "Through military life, I was able to grow a bit more as a person, and it was a precious time in my life. Thanks to MONBEBE's support, I was able to discharge healthy both physically and mentally." He expressed gratitude to MONBEBE for always believing and waiting, despite the long hiatus due to members' military enlistment. He acknowledged Shownu and I.M for holding the group together, which gave him strength. He promised to share more news and communicate during today's live stream. Minhyuk enlisted on April 4 last year at the 5th Division's new recruit training center and completed his service on October 3. The first to complete his duty and return to MONBEBE was leader Shownu, followed by I.M, who is actively pursuing solo activities before his enlistment, and members Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Jooheon, who are currently serving. Minhyuk held a discharge commemorative live stream at 4 PM today on MONSTA X's official YouTube channel to communicate with fans domestically and internationally. A fan event titled "Let's GO! 5rae" will be held on the 6th at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin, Seoul. MONSTA X debuted in 2015 and has grown to become a representative group in the K-POP scene. Excluding the youngest I.M, the remaining members will return next year: Jooheon in January, Kihyun in February, and Hyungwon in May.
