Chen of EXO finally revealed a new story. Chen released the music video for the title track "Empty" from the 4th mini album "DOOR" through the official YouTube channel at 6:00 pm on the 28th. This music video was produced with the theme of "being filled by becoming empty." Through various characters such as a sad-faced student, an old man holding a cat, and a station attendant, the story about "what can be seen only when empty" was conveyed. He appeared as the protagonist who fills the photo gallery with the stories of the characters, depicting the empty and lonely emotions with delicate expressions, enhancing the immersive experience. The video was shot entirely on location in Japan, incorporating vast landscapes with views of the sea and placing each story in different spaces to create a cinematic feel. The title track "Empty" is an impressive ballad with delicate piano and lyrical string melodies. Chen participated in writing the lyrics, expressing the lonely emotions lost in emptiness and showcasing his sensitive vocals. In addition to this album, it includes a variety of genres such as "Dandelion," "PLAYLIST," "Fall In Love Again," "Starlight," and "Remember." In particular, this album is a new release by Chen, who has hit many OSTs such as "Best Luck" from "It's Okay, That's Love," "Everytime" from "Descendants of the Sun," "For You" from "Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "I'm Not Okay" from "Missing 9," and "How to Love Myself" from "Dr. Slump," since "Last Scene" about 1 year and 6 months ago. Baekhyun of EXO participated in writing the lyrics for "Dandelion," and HAON and BE'O featured on "PLAYLIST," supporting him. Chen will perform the new song "Empty" on Mnet's "M COUNTDOWN" on the 30th, KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on the 31st, and MBC's "Show! Music Core" on June 1st.
