The music program "Venue101," delivered live every Saturday at 11:00 p.m. from NHK Studio 101. Under the theme "At 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, live music is born," MCs Ryuichi Hamaya and Erika Ikuta, together with guest artists, deliver fun and passionate live performances. This time, they are leaving Studio 101 and, under the title "Venue101 EXTRA," will hold a public recording at NHK Hall for the second time this fiscal year. The event will be broadcast over two weeks. In WEEK1, which will be broadcast on Saturday, September 26, four live performances will be delivered. New School Leaders, whose activities overseas are also remarkable, will perform "TTTTOKYO," a song that sings of their love for their hometown, Tokyo. ONEW, who is also active as the leader of SHINee, will cover Kirinji's famous song "Aliens." Da-iCE will perform "Unlimited," a song with a long-held chorus note that straightforwardly encourages listeners with "You can go even further," and M!LK will perform "Jikuu Koete Universe," said to be the concluding part of a trilogy themed around "love," following "I love you so much, die!" and "Explosive I love you." And WEEK2 on Saturday, October 3 will also be delivered with plenty of highlights, including live performances by Ayumu Imazu, ≒JOY, BALLISTIK BOYZ, and M!LK. Tickets are 5,500 yen, and finishers who reach 15,000 steps receive Japan-exclusive prizes.
A recent Instagram post from TVXQ showed Changmin, SHINee’s Minho, and EXO’s Chanyeol together in a “Che-sang Crew” shot. Their casual running outfits still highlighted their visuals, while Changmin’s Han River photo showed his trained physique. Minho also appeared on their running talk show and led the run like a coach.
The KGMA organizing committee revealed the solo, band, and trot lineup for the 3rd Korea Grand Music Awards, to be held November 7-8 at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome. The roster includes Dayoung, Minho, Young K, Yuna, Choi Yena, LUCY, TOUCHED, Novelbright, Park Ji-hyun, and Jang Minho.
SHINee’s Onew announced a comeback for October 20 by releasing a trailer for his first single album, “Illusion,” on his official YouTube channel. It is his first release in about seven months since his fifth mini album, “TOUGH LOVE,” and it will feature three title tracks.
SHINee’s Taemin released his new mini album “PHASE 1: Soft Violence,” a work built on the contrast between “soft” and “violence.” The album explores beauty’s tension, contradictions, and hidden cruelty, and includes 11 tracks, double title songs “FLOAT” and “Gooey,” and a new MV for “FLOAT.”
SHINee’s Minho presents a deep narrative of love and farewell through his 2nd mini album, Make it hot. The album includes the sensual yet refreshing pop dance track “Liquid (Feat. BELLE of KISS OF LIFE),” the medium-tempo R&B song “Ending Scene,” and the Afro-house-based “Love Me Now.” The teaser image, released on the 27th, shows him creating a unique mood against a sunset-lit island backdrop. The album will be released on September 7 at 6 p.m. through music streaming sites.
Concept photos for Onew’s Japanese 4th single, “KAKERA -Fate’s Piece-,” releasing on September 16, have been unveiled over four days. The photos feature puzzle motifs and show different sides of Onew, from warm in yellow to cool, monochrome looks. Preorders are now open, with special store editions and release-event tickets available. He will also hold concerts in Japan on September 22 and 23.
SHINee’s Minho is making a solo comeback with his second mini album, Make it hot, set for release on September 7. The album includes six tracks, led by the EDM-infused pop dance title song of the same name. The teaser images and videos have raised anticipation.
