GOT7's Jinyoung will make a comeback as a singer. Jinyoung released the trailer for his 2nd mini-album 'Said & Done' today (30th) at 12 AM through his official YouTube channel. The video features Wonpil's name, raising fans' expectations for their collaboration. In the video, Jinyoung drinks tea filled with memories of being 17, along with a note saying 'Take your time with seventeen -wonpil'. The two have maintained their friendship for about 15 years since they first met as trainees at JYP Entertainment at the age of 17. According to an interview with Newsen, Wonpil worked on Jinyoung's new song. Jinyoung's agency, BH Entertainment, confirmed to Newsen on the 30th that it is true they worked together. Fans are looking forward to the emotional synergy between the two through the music. Jinyoung and Wonpil are a beloved duo among many K-POP fans. In March, Jinyoung revealed on the web content 'Salon Drip', hosted by talent Chang Doyoung, that he is very close with Wonpil, mentioning a day they talked for about 11 hours. At that time, Jinyoung expressed affection, saying, 'We talked about whether we were doing well, and sometimes we would sit in silence for an hour. You have friends with whom you can be comfortable without exchanging words. That's the style of Wonpil.' When Chang Doyoung asked, 'If you were silent for an hour, wouldn't you normally prepare to go home?', Jinyoung replied, 'I don't know, maybe we didn't want to part. We looked at our phones, talked when we could, and had a drink.' Later, Wonpil explained on a fan communication platform, 'I watched 'Salon Drip'. Jinyoung said we talked for 11 hours, but I thought, was it really 11 hours? After watching that, Jinyoung contacted me, and we called to fact-check if we really talked for 11 hours, and that call alone lasted 3 and a half hours. It's ridiculous. It wasn't 11 hours, it was more like 12 and a half hours. I don't know if it was exactly 12 and a half, but it wasn't 11.' Jinyoung's 2nd mini-album 'Said & Done' will be released on May 13 at 6 PM through various music distribution sites. This solo album marks his return after about 3 years since his first solo album released in January 2023, the 1st mini-album 'Chapter 0: WITH'. During that time, he showcased GOT7's mini-album 'WINTER HEPTAGON' in January last year, a digital single 'Christmas Fever' in December, and appeared in the drama 'The Witch - Save You Method' which ended in March last year, the movie 'High Five' released in May, the drama 'Unknown Soul' which concluded in June, and the JTBC drama 'Love's Light' which ended in April this year, solidifying his status as a reliable actor.
