This award celebrates the top BGM tracks in Japan, which has been operated for over 60 years and is No. 1 in domestic share (according to our own research). The '2025 Annual USEN HIT Ranking' was compiled based on airplay records and listener requests (calculation period: November 22, 2024 - November 20, 2025). This ranking selects hit songs that have been loved by people across Japan through BGM in restaurants and commercial facilities over the past year. Announcements were made in a total of 7 categories, including J-POP, SNS, Enka/Kayo, Western music, K-POP, and anime. The top spot in the K-POP category went to G-DRAGON's 'HOME SWEET HOME (feat. SOL & D-LITE)' from BIGBANG. This aggressive and emotional song featuring BIGBANG members was also performed at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS' held at Kyocera Dome Osaka, marking G-DRAGON's first performance in Japan in 9 years. Following closely in second place was 'DRIP' by BABYMONSTER, which G-DRAGON also participated in composing. The energetic and overwhelming live performance of this song is its charm.
