EXO's Baekhyun showcased his special affection for fans. He graced the cover of '@star1' November issue. Meeting '@star1' again after about 9 years, he revealed both a cool and cute side in this photoshoot. Breaking a gap of about 3 years and 6 months, Baekhyun recently announced his glamorous return as the K-POP solo king. He resumed activities with his 4th mini-album 'Hello, World,' which includes six songs across various genres like action, romance, and noir, achieving the remarkable feat of surpassing 1 million sales just five days after his comeback. Regarding the million-seller record, he expressed gratitude, saying, 'I thought, 'I have received such great love,' and all the reasons for performing on stage until my body breaks are because I know how immense the love from the fans (EXO-L, affectionately called 'Eri') is.' Baekhyun, who achieved a career high in his 13th year, has continuously reflected on himself and still takes vocal lessons two to three times a week, showcasing the valuable results of his efforts. He gleamed, saying, 'I have a strong desire for vocals. I wonder if I've ever had such a desire in my life.' Known as 'the highest level of idol power,' referred to as 'MZ generation's Na Huna,' 'representative of the first army,' and 'genius idol,' he conveyed that this profession feels like his calling. He revealed, 'I've loved being in the spotlight since I was young,' and 'a job where I get to sing on stage is truly my calling.' Even after 10 years since his debut, he maintains a youthful appearance, being called 'the vampire of the idol world.' He laughed, saying, 'It might be because my parents have very youthful faces.' Debuting at 20, Baekhyun finds himself in his 30s now. He shared, 'I thought I would become more stable in my 30s, but that's not the case,' admitting, 'I feel like I could fall off a cliff at any moment.' Referring to himself as 'human whip,' he added, 'I think that reflects the great sense of responsibility and pressure I feel. I hope that Baekhyun in his 40s can be a bit more relaxed and have some leeway.' More of Baekhyun's photos and interview can be found in the '@star1' November issue.
