
The winners of the 6 popular awards of the 15th KOREA DRAMA AWARDS have been announced. Voting for the main awards and popular awards of the '2024 KOREA DRAMA FESTIVAL' (hereafter 'KDF') was conducted from September 8 to 28 on the Korean drama series chart plexon, with the fandom platform 'MY1PICK' and the participatory fandom app 'CELEB CHAMP'. As a result, the winners of a total of 6 categories, including the popular award which reflects 100% of fan votes, and the OST (insert song) were decided. The 'Hot Star Award (Male)' was awarded to Byung Woo-seok for 'Run with Songjae', and the 'Hot Star Award (Female)' went to Kim Ji-won for 'Queen of Tears'. Additionally, in the 'Global Star Award', Kim Soo-hyun won after fierce competition with ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo from 'Wonderful Days' and 'Wonderful World', and Kim Soo-hyun also won the 'Best Couple Award' with Kim Ji-won, competing against Byung Woo-seok and Kim Hae-yoon from 'Run with Songjae'. The 'Best OST Award' went to 'More Than Enough' sung by ZEROBASEONE's Kim Tae-re, and the 'Hot Icon Award' was awarded to DKZ's Jae-chan. The KDF is the first drama festival in Korea, hosted by the KDF organizing committee and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jinju City. The festival will kick off with the 'International Forum on Drama Video' on October 11 at the Sangpyeong Complex Cultural Center in Jinju, followed by the 'KOREA DRAMA AWARDS' on the 12th at the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center, a 'KDF Concert' on the 13th, 'KDF Invitation Seats' from the 15th to 19th at the Namgang Riverside Special Stage, and a 'KDF Short Form Drama Public Exhibition' on the 20th at the Jinju Knowledge Industry Center. Many stars will participate in the '2024 KOREA DRAMA FESTIVAL', and the '15th KOREA DRAMA AWARDS' will feature MCs Lee Sang-min and talent Oh Jung-yoon. Former GFRIEND member Yuju and VERIVERY will perform as invited singers at the '15th KOREA DRAMA AWARDS'. The '15th KOREA DRAMA AWARDS' will be live-streamed on the official KDF YouTube channel from 5 PM on the 12th, and will be available for viewing for 150 minutes through OBS from 11:05 PM to 12:35 AM.
