The new joint Japan-Korea program 'Change Street' is set to premiere, promising an ultra-luxurious stage. 'Change Street,' a mega project commemorating the 60th anniversary of Korea-Japan diplomatic normalization, will be broadcast simultaneously on December 20 by Korea's ENA and Japan's Fuji TV. It is a new concept cultural exchange program where representative artists from Korea and Japan deeply engage with each other's cities, languages, and sensibilities through music. In the first episode, the youngest member of the 'Change Street' Korean team, Taehyun from TOMORROW X TOGETHER, will open the first busking performance with Sung Si-kyung's 'On the Street.' This stage, showcasing Taehyun as a 'ballad singer' beyond just an 'idol,' symbolizes the beginning of the program with his pure singing voice in an unfamiliar city. Additionally, SUPER JUNIOR's Ryeowook will perform a street song in a special setting atop a rickshaw in Asakusa, promising another impressive performance. This stage, harmonizing space, song, and human warmth, vividly illustrates the musical exchange that 'Change Street' aims for. The participation of Japanese singers is also highly anticipated. Legendary Japanese artists and singers who have left a deep impression on the Korean audience will gather for meaningful encounters. The appearance of Japan's national singer, Koda Kumi, known as the 'songstress,' alongside her life partner KENJI03 (Hi-yunk), is expected to feature special scenes. Notably, Koda Kumi is said to show exceptional affection while watching the stage of 'Ruby Ring' performed by her husband KENJI03 and DJ KOO. KENJI03 and DJ KOO will layer their different charms over the weight of the original song, creating a new resonance. Furthermore, Japan's Ai Takahashi and DJ KOO will showcase a top-level collaboration with Morning Musume's representative song 'Love Revolution 21.' The meeting of the former leader of Japan's iconic idol group, Morning Musume, and the leader of the legendary group TRF will elevate the atmosphere on-site and create memorable moments that invite audience participation. Additionally, Lee Seung-gi and Kim Chung-ha will add emotion with drama OSTs, while Ai Tominaka, known for her cover songs in Korea, and Ai Takahashi and Rainy will heat up the stage, captivating viewers. Korean artists will start their first busking in Chiba Prefecture's Toshiba Village, performing in various iconic locations such as Yokohama's Red Brick Warehouse, Tokyo Tower, Odaiba, and Asakusa, where tradition and modernity coexist.
