Heeseung, who left ENHYPEN, announced a new activity name and hinted at full-fledged solo activities. Today (8th), Heeseung opened a personal Instagram account and released a profile video and photos suggesting his new musical color. Notably, he attached the hashtag ‘#Evan’ to the post, which caught attention. This is interpreted as a new activity name as a solo artist, gathering great interest from fans. Additionally, a new photo as ‘EVAN’ was also released on the official website of his agency BELIFT LAB. The released video and photos sensually close up on Heeseung's deep gaze and parts of his body, creating a mysterious and fantastical atmosphere. From his gaze looking straight ahead, leaving a residual impression, a strong will to show a new self as a solo singer can be felt. Previously, on the 10th of last month, Heeseung announced his departure from ENHYPEN, shocking fans. At that time, BELIFT LAB revealed, ‘Heeseung has left ENHYPEN, and ENHYPEN will continue to operate as a six-member group in future official schedules. It is difficult to explain all the processes in a short sentence, but we want to convey that this was a decision made after long consideration.’ Heeseung also conveyed his passion for music, stating, ‘I am working hard to prepare an album so that I can meet everyone as soon as possible.’
ENHYPEN’s latest album, “THE SIN : BLISS,” ranked No. 1 on Oricon’s latest weekly combined album chart announced on September 2 with 193,282 points. This became their 11th No. 1 on the combined album chart, moving them up to third place alone in the all-time rankings behind SEVENTEEN and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Combined with No. 1 on the weekly album chart, they achieved a double crown on Oricon’s weekly music rankings.
ENHYPEN won first place on MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” completing a four-crown sweep on this week’s music shows with “Bloody Paradise.” They thanked ENGENE and supporters, then delivered a powerful performance. The Brazilian funk track is also charting globally, and they will perform on “Inkigayo” next.
EVAN, formerly Heeseung of ENHYPEN, appeared on the blue carpet at the 2026 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS held at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on the afternoon of the 27th. The event featured many K-pop artists, including ATEEZ, RIIZE, LE SSERAFIM, and GOT7's JAY B. It also noted his September 7 comeback with the first mini-album 'DEATH OF ME' and his cover of Kenshi Yonezu's 'Haiiro to Ao.'
