Heeseung, who left ENHYPEN, is preparing for a new start as a solo artist under the name 'EVAN.' He opened an official SNS channel and released his first profile photo. In the photo, EVAN showcases his charm with a messy hairstyle and natural makeup, exuding an unadorned appeal. Stripping away extravagant decorations, he remains true to the basics while radiating a deep aura. His label, BELIFT LAB, explained that this photo represents 'EVAN in the most pure form before being defined or interpreted as a specific existence, still uncolored by anything.' EVAN debuted in 2020 as part of the global group ENHYPEN, showcasing exceptional vocal and rap techniques, as well as overwhelming performance abilities. He has proven his songwriting, composing, and producing skills through songs like 'Highway 1009' and 'Dial Tragedy,' earning high praise as a singer-songwriter. The name 'EVAN' symbolizes Heeseung's 'other self' and represents his musical identity. He expressed, 'EVAN is a name filled with precious memories from my childhood,' and he wants to evoke that name again to show his new self as 'EVAN.' He conveyed his sincere desire to approach fans step by step with music that embodies his most honest and natural self. Expectations are rising for EVAN's new start.
