NCT's Doyoung enlisted yesterday (the 8th), and he released a video of the day before, along with words of gratitude to fans. He shared a video on his Instagram showing himself eating at home, going out, and getting a haircut, where he became bald, which caught attention. He also included a long message to fans. He wrote, 'I have enlisted. I think many of you already know, so rather than talking about the enlistment news, I want to share some of the thoughts and feelings I've had while working until now, so I will write a little.' He expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported him since he first delivered songs under the name 'Doyoung' in 2016, regardless of the reasons. He elaborated on those he is grateful for, including the SM family, directors, writers, PDs, and staff he has worked with. He also showed affection for NCT 127 members, saying, 'NCT 127 has become the standard of 'friends' in my life. Thanks to you, I have achieved and endured many moments. The time spent together supports who I am now. Thank you for being my friends.' Furthermore, he expressed his deepest gratitude to the fans, known as 'Shizuni' (NCTzen), saying, 'I can express my gratitude countless times, and my feelings of thanks will not change, so I will try to say something other than 'thank you.' I apologize if there were painful or hurtful times because you loved us. I am grateful that you endured because you love us, and don't worry about us! No matter what form we take, we will become a team that you can be proud of. I will work hard for Shizuni.' He acknowledged that there were times he couldn't be proud of the name NCT 127, but now that he can start anew, he will become a more proud existence. He revealed his determination, saying, 'The center of my life is me and NCT 127, so it is something I absolutely want to protect. I will protect it without giving up.'
