In 'Crash 2', Lee Ming-ki, Kwak Son-young, Ho Sung-tae, Lee Ho-cheol, and Moon Hee join NCT's Jisung to deliver an even hotter and thrilling run. ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Crash 2: Road of Anger' (hereafter 'Crash 2') is the sequel to the popular 'Crash' that gained fame in 2024. With a novel theme of traffic crime investigation, the exhilarating teamwork of the Traffic Crime Investigation team (T.C.I) that punishes villains on the road, and the fast-paced car chase action further enhance the refreshing feeling of the genre, receiving high praise. The viewership ratings recorded the second highest in ENA drama history at the time of airing, creating a significant buzz. In this highly anticipated sequel, the T.C.I team from Namgang Police Station is reorganized into a national investigation team, challenging nationwide traffic crime cases. The non-stop investigative action that thoroughly exposes more sophisticated and organized malicious traffic crimes is expected to bring intense refreshment to viewers once again. Above all, the reunion of the production team and main cast from Season 1, which sparked the hyper-reality investigation drama boom, raises expectations. Director Park Joon-ho, who fused intense action with refined visuals in 'Crash 1' and 'The Revenge Agent - Model Taxi' Season 1, and screenwriter Oh Soo-jin, who sharply depicts societal injustices while creating human-like characters, team up again. Additionally, production company ASTORY, known for hit works like 'Crash 1', 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', 'Kingdom' series, and 'Signal', joins in, further raising expectations for the quality of the work. In line with the evolved heinous incidents and scale, the T.C.I's efforts and teamwork in pursuing road villains will also be 'upgraded'. Lee Ming-ki returns as Chief Cha Yong-ho, who solves cases with an analytical power more precise than AI and a tenacity that misses no small clues. He expressed, 'To confront the more advanced traffic crimes than Season 1, T.C.I's investigation will evolve even further. I am happy to reunite with Yong-ho after a long time, and I expect great teamwork. With everyone back together, we will do our best to create a better work.' Kwak Son-young will again shine as Min So-hee, leading cases with martial arts honed in real combat and a tenacity that never gives up once she bites down. She commented, 'I wished to meet everyone again in Season 2, and I am really happy and excited that this wish has come true. We will deliver a more solid teamwork and a hotter, scaled-up story on the road.' Ho Sung-tae, who carries the sorrow of losing his wife in a hit-and-run, plays the reliable team leader Jeong Che-man of T.C.I, pursuing new cases. He stated, 'In a world where criminals repeat self-justification while leaving deep scars on people's lives through illegal acts and misdeeds, I am sincerely grateful to participate in the meaningful work 'Crash 2' that can expose such realities and take a small revenge. I hope to uncover the clues to Jeong Che-man's wife's hit-and-run case.' Attention is also focused on Lee Ho-cheol, beloved for his role as the traffic crime analyst Woo Dong-ki, who possesses a delicate heart and excellent observation and data analysis skills. He expressed, 'I am happy to join T.C.I again in Season 2. I will work hard to show the more grown-up Woo Dong-ki and the deepened teamwork.' Moon Hee will again showcase her presence as Oh Hyun-kyung, equipped with outstanding information power and splendid martial arts. She said, 'I am preparing for the filming of 'Crash 2' with joy and excitement. I think we can show the strong bond unique to T.C.I once again. The investigation process to solve more sophisticated traffic crimes, along with new characters, is expected to be even more interesting, so please look forward to it.' There is also great attention on Jisung, who joins from Season 2 as the 'idol police officer' Chi Dae-se, aspiring to join T.C.I. He expressed, 'I am really happy to participate in 'Crash 2'. I want to show an impressive figure to viewers who will see my acting for the first time. I want to learn one by one under the wonderful production team and seniors. I ask for much interest and support.' 'Crash 2' is set to air in the second half of 2026 as an ENA Monday-Tuesday drama and will also be distributed on KT genie TV.
