Miyeon of i-dle revealed that after deep contemplation, she decided to make a solo comeback. Yesterday (the 3rd), Miyeon held a showcase to commemorate the release of her 2nd mini-album 'MY, Lover' at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul. Additionally, at 6 PM on the same day, she released 'MY, Lover' through various music streaming sites. This album is her new release after 3 years and 6 months since her 1st mini-album 'MY' in 2022. Miyeon stated, 'This year, I have been fortunate to have many jobs and spend happy times. Since it's been 3 years and 6 months since my solo work, it has been quite a while for me. I have prepared hard for this. I hope to receive a lot of love.' She continued discussing expectations compared to her 1st mini-album, saying, 'During the activities for 'MY', it was during the COVID period, so there weren't many opportunities to meet fans directly, but I am very excited that I will be able to meet them closely this time.' The new album consists of 7 songs, including the title track 'Say My Name', the pre-released song 'Reno (Feat. Colde)', 'Space Invader', 'Petal Shower', 'Show', 'F.F.L.Y', and 'You And No One Else'. Miyeon participated in the overall work of the 2nd mini-album, solidifying her unique musical essence. She particularly focused on writing the lyrics for 'F.F.L.Y' and 'You And No One Else'. The title track 'Say My Name' is a pop ballad that suits autumn well. Sofia Kay and Lee Seul-ran, who have worked with many famous K-POP artists, participated in composing and writing the song, enhancing its completeness. The delicate piano melody, rhythmic beat, and Miyeon's explosive vocal ability harmonize beautifully. Miyeon explained about the title track, 'I had a lot of worries about which song should be the title track for the second album. Due to the pressure of wanting to show it well, I unknowingly put in too much effort. I changed my thoughts to show a natural and comfortable version of myself, and ended up presenting a song that is relaxed and fits the season.'
