An incident occurred where hundreds of entry wristbands for the BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) concert venue were stolen, and the police have begun tracking the suspect. Today (11th), according to the police, around 3:20 PM on the same day, a report was received that a man fled with about 500 entry wristbands from the ticket booth at the main stadium of Gyeonggi-do (Kyunggi-do) Goyang (Koyang) Comprehensive Sports Complex. Upon receiving the report, the police are conducting searches focusing on the main routes of movement based on the suspect's characteristics. The affiliated agency BIGHIT MUSIC announced through an official comment that 'wristbands received without going through proper procedures at the identity verification booth cannot be used for entry.' They further called for people not to respond to any acts of providing or selling wristbands outside the identity verification booth and to report such incidents to the event organizers or police. The wristbands taken by the man are necessary items for entry to the concert venue, and entry is only possible when both the concert ticket and wristband are presented together at the venue. This has raised concerns about potential chaos and unauthorized entry. BTS will kick off their 'BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG'' at the main stadium of Goyang Comprehensive Sports Complex on the 11th and 12th.
