ITZY's Yeji has been diagnosed with a lumbar disc herniation ahead of the Japan concert. Today (5th), JYP Entertainment released a comment regarding Yeji's health status through their official channel. JYP revealed, 'Yeji recently complained of back pain and visited the hospital. As a result of a detailed examination, she was diagnosed with a lumbar disc herniation and advised to minimize movements that put strain on her back.' Consequently, she will participate in the world tour's Japan concert on the 9th and 10th of this month with performance limitations. The agency stated, 'With the artist's proactive will, she wishes to participate on stage as much as possible within her limits and meet with fans.'
