
SEVENTEEN's 12th mini-album 'SPILL THE FEELS' was released in Japan on October 15 and debuted at No. 1 on the latest Oricon weekly combined album ranking (dated October 28, 2024) with 416,654 points. The 416,654 points surpassed the previous best album '17 IS RIGHT HERE' which had 344,000 points, setting the highest weekly points for an overseas artist this year. This marks their 13th No. 1 album, updating their own record for the most No. 1 albums. With this No. 1, they achieved a double crown in the Oricon weekly music ranking, winning both 'weekly album ranking' and 'weekly combined album ranking.' They also topped three Billboard JAPAN charts: 'Hot Albums,' 'Top Album Sales,' and 'Artist 100' announced on October 23. The 12th mini-album carries a message of 'trusting others, sharing emotions, and resolving worries' through relatable stories. It includes the title track 'LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)' and five other tracks: 'Eyes on you,' '1 TO 13,' unit songs 'Candy' (vocal team), 'Rain' (performance team), and 'Water' (hip-hop team). Woozi and BUMZU, who have worked on many of SEVENTEEN's hits, participated in writing and composing most of the six tracks. More than half of the members, including S.COUPS, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, and Dino, contributed to the song production, showcasing their evolution as artists. SEVENTEEN is currently holding the 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR,' which started with concerts in Korea on October 12-13. Nine out of ten shows in the U.S. tour are sold out. In Japan, they have scheduled ten dome performances across four cities starting from November 29-30 at Aichi's Vantelin Dome Nagoya.
