Actress Jisoo Jung talked about her past dream of becoming an idol. Jisoo Jung, who appeared in the movie 'Taiyou no Uta' (Director: Cho Yong-jun), recently revealed her impressions of participating in the film during an interview held in Jongno, Seoul. 'Taiyou no Uta' is a music love story that depicts the romance between a singer-songwriter, Misol (Jisoo Jung), who can only date at night, and aspiring actor Minjun (VIXX's N/Cha Hak-kyung), as they progress together towards their dreams through music. The film is based on the 2006 Japanese film 'Taiyou no Uta' and gained attention with AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk participating as the music director. When asked about her impressions of music director Lee Chan-hyuk, she reflected, 'I actually thought he would be a sensitive person. However, while he had attention to detail, he was not someone who made artists suffer.' Misol is a singer-songwriter who plays the acoustic guitar, and she had to perform scenes where she played the guitar. She recalled, 'At that time, I was filming both 'Taiyou no Uta' and 'The Glory - Glorious Revenge -' at the same time, and I wondered, 'Can I really master this perfectly?' It was difficult to have to act while performing.' Nevertheless, she decided to participate because she loved singing since childhood. She expressed gratitude, saying, 'It was very difficult to combine my profession with my hobby, but on the other hand, I was thankful that I could study my hobby for free while working.' In January of this year, she played the role of an idol trainee in the KBS 2TV drama 'Suspicious Partner,' showcasing her singing ability. She also participated as a member of WSG WANNABE in the MBC variety show 'What Would You Do If You Played?' With such a deep connection to singing, she mentioned, 'I dreamed of being a singer in the past,' adding, 'However, my parents strongly opposed it, saying, 'Absolutely not.' I really wanted to become a singer and even sang in front of my parents.' She also mentioned that her parents opposed her becoming an actress, saying, 'Since I was living as a figure skater, I said I wanted to learn acting as an excuse to walk the path of an actress.' Jisoo, who particularly wanted to become an idol, said, 'Seeing people around me who were active as idols, I thought it was a very difficult and tough profession. Above all, I thought dieting seemed to be the hardest part.' She also mentioned that she is close to Kei from LOVELYZ, YUNHO from ATEEZ, and Lee Jun-young from UKISS.
