Yeji of ITZY appealed a brilliant presence. ITZY is releasing various teaser content ahead of the official release of their new album "BORN TO BE" and title track "UNTOUCHABLE" on January 8, 2024. On December 11, they posted a group teaser image that allows you to check the visuals in advance, and on December 12 at midnight, they released Yeji's concept photos and clips. In the passionate yet chic photos, Yeji exudes a dignified atmosphere. Under the red lighting, she captivates with a powerful gaze, while her smoky eye makeup, bold accessories, and parka styling exude a charismatic aura. The simultaneously released clip mesmerizes with a confident expression in a dark cave, creating anticipation for ITZY's "hot" and "wild" album. The album includes the title track "UNTOUCHABLE" and the first solo songs by the members since their debut, showcasing various atmospheres. The album features 10 songs, including "Crown On My Head" (Yeji), "Blossom" (Lia), "Run Away" (Ryujin), "Mine" (Chaeryeong), and "Yet, but" (Yuna), each written and composed by the respective members. The album also features famous Korean and international writers. The title track "UNTOUCHABLE" was written by Isran, who wrote "None of My Business" from the previous album "KILL MY DOUBT," and Pan Hehyun, who worked on aespa's "Drama" and "Spicy," as well as Maria Marcus, who has worked with BTS, Red Velvet, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. ITZY will showcase their solo songs for the first time through this album, demonstrating their musical abilities. The album "BORN TO BE," created in collaboration with famous Korean and international writers such as Shim Eunji, Lee Woomin (collapsedone), GALACTIKA*, SELAH, and MRCH, is set to heat up 2024. Following their comeback, they will embark on a new world tour in February next year. ITZY will hold a solo concert at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena on February 24 and 25, 2024, and kick off their second world tour, "ITZY THE 2ND WORLD TOUR." Having felt growth through their first world tour "CHECKMATE" from August 2022 to April this year, they expressed their aspirations to show a more perfect stage and explosive energy based on their experiences, and to once again visit the world and reaffirm their presence as K-POP performance artisans. ITZY's new mini-album "BORN TO BE" will be officially released at 6 p.m. on January 8. A countdown live will be streamed at 5 p.m. on the same day to create comeback memories with MIDZY (ITZY's fans).
