As the awards began, the excellence award in the male category was jointly awarded to Koo Seong-hwan from 'I Live Alone' and DEX from 'Born to Travel the World'. Koo Seong-hwan humorously noted, 'My appearance in 'I Live Alone' is exactly the same as Ki-an 84's broadcast,' and expressed admiration for CODE KUNST's eloquence, creating laughter. He continued, 'My 'lover' who always waits for me at home... I'm happy thanks to you,' conveying affection for his dog and creating a warm atmosphere. DEX expressed his honor in receiving the award, stating, 'I was just trying to applaud and leave, and I am honored to receive this award,' adding that 'Born to Travel the World' was the show that shaped him. He particularly mentioned Yu Jae-seok, saying, 'Every year during the holidays, I make it a vow to greet brother Jae-seok,' and expressed a desire to continue greeting him in the coming years, earning a big round of applause. The best female award went to Kim Suk, who noted, 'This year marks my 30th anniversary since debut,' and expressed gratitude to Yu Jae-seok, Song Eun-yi, and Lee Yong-ja for always stopping her when she considered quitting, creating a heartwarming moment. The best male award was given to Yoo Se-yoon, who said, 'This was the moment I wanted the most,' adding that everyone nominated must also feel happy. During this process, Chang Dong-min, BOOM, Haha, and Yang Se-hyung suddenly left the studio, inducing laughter, and Jeong Hyun-moo and Jang Do-yeon remarked, 'This is real. It's not a good scene to watch at the end of the year,' adding to the humor. This year's entertainer awards were presented to Ki-an 84, Jang Do-yeon, Kim Yong-kyung, and finally Yu Jae-seok in order. Kim Yong-kyung stated, 'I accept this on behalf of the results created by the players,' deepening the meaning. The variety show award chosen by viewer votes went to 'New Director Kim Yong-kyung'. The MCs unanimously stated, 'With this momentum, we could reach the grand prize,' and Kim Yong-kyung expressed a desire to create new records in variety, just as he did during his athlete days when he received the rookie award and MVP. Finally, Yu Jae-seok, who received this year's entertainer award, went on to win the grand prize, marking his ninth win at MBC and an unprecedented 21st overall grand prize. The achievement award was given posthumously to the late Jeong Yu-seong, with his disciple Kim Sin-young accepting on his behalf, stating, 'My teacher always said, 'If you want to make people laugh, first laugh yourself,' and expressed a desire to become a disciple of Jeong Yu-seong, who enjoys himself and brings joy to many others.
