MONSTA X's Minhyuk has returned to fans after finishing his duty of national defense. Today (3rd) in the morning, Minhyuk completed his military service as an active army soldier and was discharged. Members I.M, Shownu, Kihyun, and Jooheon also attended the scene, sharing warm hugs and showcasing their unchanged member love. He enlisted in April last year, entering the 5th Division's new recruit training unit in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do, where he underwent basic military training and continued to serve as an active soldier. At that time, Minhyuk posted a letter on the official fan community before enlisting, greeting fans directly. He expressed, "I will use the upcoming time more meaningfully, becoming a better Minhyuk, and I am already excited to receive greater love from MONBEBE (MONSTA X's fans)." He added, "It’s not sad because I’m not going far away. During the time apart, I will return as a healthy and wonderful person. I love you very much, MONBEBE. Thank you. Let’s meet smiling next year! I will be back soon." On the day of enlistment, Minhyuk entered the training center while being seen off by the members. Later, his dignified appearance in military uniform was revealed through the army training center's website, attracting attention. After about a year and a half of military service, Minhyuk became the second member of MONSTA X to complete military service, following Shownu. His first activity after discharge will be a fan event. Last July, the five members, excluding him, held the MONBEBE 7th term fan concert "MX FRIENDS" to meet fans. Previously, STARSHIP Entertainment announced through the official account that they would hold the "2024 MINHYUK Fan Event 'Let's GO! 5rae'" on the 26th of last month, which marked the 9th anniversary of the official fan club MONBEBE. Especially known for his love for fans, Minhyuk will spend a special time with MONBEBE at this first official event after military service, which will be free for all seats. Minhyuk debuted as a member of MONSTA X on May 14, 2015. Since then, he has actively participated in the music scene, releasing songs like "Trespass," "RUSH," "DRAMARAMA," "Jealousy," "Shoot Out," "Alligator," "FANTASIA," "Love Killa," and "Rush Hour."
