THE NEW SIX was chosen as the first eliminated team and left 'ROAD TO KINGDOM'. In the 5th episode of Mnet's 'ROAD TO KINGDOM: ACE OF ACE' broadcast on the 17th in Korea, The Crew One (ATBO, JUST B), TEMPEST, and ONEUS completed the second round 'IDENTITY' mission. The Crew One, which was in the lower ranks in the first round, wanted to show their unity through this stage and performed a mashup of JUST B's 'Get Away' and ATBO's 'ATTITUDE' titled 'Get A new Attitude'. The opposing teams praised them, saying, 'The team with the best synergy as an ace'. TEMPEST also fought to avoid elimination, showcasing their refreshing concept with 'Can't stop shinning' and 'EYE OF THE TEMPEST', featuring main vocalist Hyuk and main dancer Hanbin as aces. Their stage, filled with confetti and reminiscent of a year-end awards ceremony, impressed the opposing teams, who remarked, 'The stage was really beautiful' and 'It felt pure yet solid in performance, like a prince in a fairy tale'. Following this, ONEUS also showcased their stage for survival in the finale of the second round. They expressed their desire to excel in the mission and chose 'No diggity', leaving a strong impression. The audience was captivated by Fanung's guitar performance with dazzling sparks, Soho's high notes, and the synchronized stage with the audience, leading to respect from the opposing teams. The broadcast continued with the announcement of the first eliminated team based on the total scores from the first and second rounds, creating tension. As a result, CRAVITY topped the team rankings, maintaining a good position in the ace rankings as well, rising to second place. In the ace rankings, ONEUS secured first place, while they ranked second in team rankings, keeping pace with CRAVITY. The candidates for elimination included The Crew One, ranked seventh in team rankings, and THE NEW SIX, ranked seventh in ace rankings. For the survival ace battle, Oh Junseok and Jeong Seunghwan from The Crew One, and Eunki from THE NEW SIX appeared as aces. Oh Junseok and Jeong Seunghwan showcased a powerful pair dance without yielding an inch. Eunki performed a relatable rap with lyrics from 'UNDERWORLD', but ultimately, THE NEW SIX was eliminated with a score of 14 to 11. Eunki expressed regret for not being able to show everything he wanted, stating, 'Although it was a short time, I will remember it as a good experience and strive to become a more shining artist.' Choi Tehun shared his thoughts, saying, 'Through this experience, I learned the importance of the stage, the fans, and most importantly, the value of my teammates, for which I am grateful.' With the third round approaching, where another team will be eliminated, attention is focused on Mnet's 'ROAD TO KINGDOM: ACE OF ACE'.
