Amid the announcement that TEMPEST’s group activities will be suspended, Lee Eui-woon, who is leaving his agency YH Entertainment, greeted fans. On the 20th of this month, Lee Eui-woon posted a long handwritten letter on his SNS, expressing his apology to fans and his gratitude. He said, “I feel pained that I have to deliver such news to the fans who have believed in us and supported us for a long time,” and added, “I am filled with as much regret as gratitude. While waiting for our future activity direction and various circumstances to be sorted out, I myself have spent days feeling confused and hurt. I also wanted to spend more time with all of you, and there were still many sides of me I wanted to show. However, due to various circumstances and reasons, it has become unavoidable that it is difficult for us to continue activities together from here on. I have many lingering regrets myself, but I sincerely thank everyone who has walked this path with us until now.” He continued, “Thanks to all of you, I was able to stand on the stage I had dreamed of for a long time, and I was able to gain so many different experiences. In that process, whenever I came to have new dreams and goals I wanted to achieve, I challenged myself with everything I had. At times, things did not go as I wanted, and there were days when I felt frustrated. Even so, I am truly grateful that I was able to sincerely wish for something and give my all to make it come true. I am happy that I was able to have such experiences.” He added, “There were also days when I felt I had shortcomings and had not been able to fully meet your expectations. Even so, I sincerely thank everyone who continued to watch over me and support me without changing.” After expressing gratitude and support to the members he had walked with, he said, “And I myself am thinking of walking a new path from here on. As I leave a familiar place and make a new start, honestly, I have a lot of anxiety and worry. However, rather than being trapped by fear, I think I will take a step forward. With the love and support you have given me in my heart, I want to keep learning steadily, keep making efforts, and show you an even more grown-up version of myself.” Lee Eui-woon debuted as Hyunseop X Euiwoon after appearing on Mnet’s “PRODUCE 101.” He later re-debuted in March 2022 as a member of TEMPEST. With TEMPEST’s suspension of activities, Lee Eui-woon will leave the agency as of November 1, Hyuk will enlist on October 26, and Hanbin, Hyunseop, Eunchan, and Taerae are scheduled to begin individual activities at YH Entertainment.
