The teaser visual and special report for the Japanese film "Specials," featuring NCT's Yuta and Snow Man's Daisuke Sakuma, have been released. This completely original work is based on an idea, script, and direction by Eiji Uchida, known for "Midnight Swan," and is set to be released in Spring 2026. Daisuke Sakuma makes his solo film debut as the lead, joined by a luxurious and unique cast including Kippei Shiina, Yuta, Sho Aoyagi, and Hitoshi Ozawa. The film presents an unprecedented dance action entertainment where assassins must aim to win a dance competition as the only way to eliminate their eccentric target. A mismatched team with zero experience, coordination, and motivation takes on serious dance challenges. The story unfolds with five assassins, each with their own burdens, including the legendary former assassin Daiya (Daisuke Sakuma), the second-in-command of Kazama-gumi, Kumashiro (Kippei Shiina), the cool assassin Kiryu (Yuta) who dislikes crowds due to past wounds, the hot-headed yet compassionate assassin Shin (Sho Aoyagi), and the now down-and-out former yakuza warrior Murasame (Hitoshi Ozawa). The teaser visual shows the characters in a dazzling dance venue, hinting at their nervousness or confidence before the dance performance. The special report features intense car chases and gun action, leading to the unexpected task of forming a dance team. The five characters, dressed in stylish suits, prepare for the dance competition, culminating in a humorous reveal of their lack of dancing skills. The film promises thrilling and exciting visuals, set to premiere in Spring 2026.
