Last night (23rd), the main feature of "The Devil Wears Prada 2" was finally unveiled in Japan. To celebrate this memorable day, the "The Devil Wears Prada 2" Japan premiere event was held. Alongside TWICE's Momo and Sana, who were appointed as Japan ambassadors, special guests who love "The Devil Wears Prada" gathered glamorously. The first event was a glamorous red carpet featuring premium guests who love "The Devil Wears Prada." The first to appear was model Seira in a black tight dress. "The fashion of the characters in 'The Devil Wears Prada' is always sophisticated and wonderful, so I'm really looking forward to the latest work," she expressed her anticipation. Next, RAN (MAZZEL) appeared in a chic black suit, commenting, "It's been 20 years since the sequel, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the characters have spent their time and what Miranda and Andy will talk about first." Yu Kashiwagi (Choutokkyuu) appeared in a spring-like pink lavender suit, saying, "'The Devil Wears Prada' is a work that gives me confidence. I love that it pushes me to pursue what I'm doing." Also, Maria Tani, in a black dress adorned with frills, commented, "I love fashion myself, so I'm happy to see various coordinates, and in the first work, I liked seeing Andy, who entered a new environment as a newcomer, struggle with herself and various points in life." Ayaka Miyoshi, dressed in a suit with a large ribbon on the back, said, "'The Devil Wears Prada' is a work that always brings me back to the beginning of my life. I like that it teaches me how to live in society, what I like, and how to build human relationships. I'm also looking forward to seeing the new cast and their relationships and fashion." Yuu Yamada, in a glamorous red dress with devil-inspired makeup, commented, "The fashion was glamorous and exciting to watch, but I originally identified with Andy, and gradually I began to empathize with Miranda's loneliness and determination. I think it's a charm that anyone from any generation can relate to and feel motivated. I want to know how Miranda and the others have faced time and what they have given up or protected." Kyoko Hasegawa, who closed the carpet in an eye-catching lavender tight dress, said, "I watched it in real-time 20 years ago, and it's a wonderful work that depicts not just a fashion movie but also 'what it means to work.' When I watched it again as an adult, I realized how deep the theme is." Following that, a runway event featuring TWICE's Momo and Sana, the Japan ambassadors for the latest work, was held. A surprise message from Meryl Streep, who plays Miranda, and Anne Hathaway, who plays Andy, was played at the venue, announcing the two as Japan ambassadors. Momo and Sana were introduced as "two women who embody confidence, style, and overwhelming presence, perfectly representing this work." As current fashion icons active worldwide, they dressed up in gorgeous red outfits, the theme color of the film, and confidently walked the special stage runway created for this day, captivating the entire venue in an instant. Afterward, a talk session with the two was held. The first film, "The Devil Wears Prada," depicted Andy, who was hired as the assistant to the charismatic editor-in-chief Miranda, struggling with work and love. Andy's journey of carving her path under harsh conditions resonates with Momo and Sana, who continue to shine at the forefront while constantly opening new paths. Regarding their appointment as Japan ambassadors, Momo expressed, "I was so excited and nervous when I was welcomed by such wonderful comments from the two. It's rare to participate in a movie event as a Japan ambassador, so I was really looking forward to it." Momo said, "Today, I'm wearing a custom-made dress by 'Miu Miu.' I think the fit and silhouette of the layered dress are really beautiful. I decided to go with red to match the image of this movie." Sana followed, saying, "I'm wearing a dress made by 'Prada.' It's a stunning red color that matches the theme of the movie, and the ribbon detail on the back is a highlight of my outfit." The two have already watched footage from "The Devil Wears Prada 2." When asked for their impressions, Momo said, "I was really excited from the beginning! Each scene is truly wonderful, and I thought the fashion was very carefully considered. I want to see it all soon!" Sana also expressed her joy, saying, "I was very happy to hear that a sequel was announced 20 years later since I had watched 'The Devil Wears Prada.' I'm honored to be chosen as the ambassador for my favorite movie alongside Momo-chan." She added, "(In the footage) from the moment it started, I was overwhelmed by the world, and I want to see it from start to finish as soon as possible." Continuing from the previous film, the latest work "The Devil Wears Prada 2" seems to boost fashion and work motivation. When asked about what they want to do when they want to raise their motivation, Momo said, "I love fashion, so I get motivated by shopping a lot and wearing my favorite clothes and accessories. Since the season is changing, I want cute tank tops and tops." Sana replied, "I often feel motivated when I see people working hard, thinking, 'I want to do my best too.' Watching 'The Devil Wears Prada' makes me feel positive and gives me confidence, making me feel like a strong woman, so I want to see 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' as soon as possible." Finally, addressing the fans looking forward to the film's release, Momo said, "I think there are many fans who are really looking forward to this work, and it is truly a wonderful piece. There are many highlights, so please check it out!" Sana reiterated, "The fashion and story are truly captivating. I believe there are many who have been waiting for 20 years, and I hope everyone can watch it soon and share their thoughts! Please enjoy the work!" The event overflowed with the two's love for "Prada." The highly anticipated latest work "The Devil Wears Prada 2" will finally be released in theaters on May 1 (Friday).
