CIXのスンフンが自身のSNSで歌手活動を中断することを発表。7年間の芸能生活を振り返り、ファンのFIXへの感謝を表現。心の余裕がなくなった時期もあったが、ファンの支えで成長できたと述べる。新しい人生への不安を抱えつつも、自分らしく生きる決意を示した。仲間のビョンゴン、ヨンヒ、ヒョンソクにも感謝の意を伝え、これからの幸せを願った。
CIXがデビューから7年でグループ活動を終了することを発表。メンバーたちは数ヶ月間の議論の末、運営停止が不可避との結論に至った。BXとスンフンは4月30日、ヒョンソクは5月31日に契約が終了。ヨンヒは自ら入隊を申請し、5月11日に陸軍現役として国防の義務を果たす予定。C9エンターテインメントは、メンバーの新たな人生への応援を呼びかけている。
CIXが9月に8th EPをリリースすることを発表。公式SNSで公開されたカミングスーンイメージには、白い翼を持つメンバーのヨンヒが神秘的なオーラを放っており、「HEAVEN IS COMING」という文言が印象的。新EPは昨年1月の7th EP以来8ヶ月ぶりで、どのような新しい世界観を披露するのか期待が高まっている。詳細は今後のティーザーで公開予定。
CIXがAIヒューマノイドに変身する新曲「0 or 1」で、5人のメンバーを基に制作されたヒューマノイドが登場。AIブリーフィング映像では多言語で話し、新曲やコンセプトを紹介。タイトル曲「Lovers or Enemies」のミュージックビデオにも登場し、グローバルファンから高い評価を受けている。24日には1stシングル「0 or 1」が発売される。
