Details of 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - LAS VEGAS' (hereafter 'THE CITY LAS VEGAS') have been additionally announced. This project will serve as the starting point for 'GLOBAL THE CITY 2.0', which expands the existing 'THE CITY' to major cities around the world, and is expected to be the largest urban collaborative campaign in history. BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) will dye Las Vegas purple in line with their 2022 performance, marking the beginning of a new urban project. This year, in collaboration with the Las Vegas Tourism Bureau, they will showcase the evolved 'ARIRANG Red Illumination'. The vibrant red, the key color of their 5th full album 'ARIRANG', will redefine the Las Vegas night. Utilizing expanded infrastructure, the scale of events is expected to be larger than in 2022, filling a wider area with BTS's messages. The world's largest spherical arena, 'Sphere', will provide spectacular sights themed around BTS's latest album 'ARIRANG' during the project period. Huge digital content covering the entire exterior will offer overwhelming visual experiences to tourists visiting Las Vegas. Additionally, in the Strip area, a large-scale welcome OOH (out-of-home advertising) takeover with messages welcoming BTS will take place. On concert days, from 11 PM to midnight, major electronic billboards will be filled with messages welcoming BTS, creating a significant moment that colors Las Vegas, the center of American entertainment, with BTS. On the concert dates of May 23, 24, 27, and 28 (local time), iconic theme hotels on the Strip, including the High Roller, Las Vegas Eiffel Tower, and Las Vegas Gateway Arch, as well as Luxor and Mandalay Bay, will all light up in red, creating a spectacular sight. On May 22 and 26, 'THE CITY Welcome Party' will be held at the Tailgate Beach Club. Furthermore, various experiences utilizing urban infrastructure, including collaborations with F&B brands like Tréjour and glamorous gourmet tours, will be provided. This project actively utilizes Las Vegas's entertainment infrastructure and cultural resources to fill the time before and after the performances with BTS's music and messages, maximizing the scope of the event. It is expected that the entire city will share and enjoy the artist's brand, not just as a venue for concert viewing. More information about 'THE CITY LAS VEGAS' can be found on BTS's official Weverse channel.
