Japan McDonald's Corporation will implement a charity activity called 'Blue Mac Day' on October 19 (Sunday) at McDonald's stores nationwide, aimed at supporting children facing illness and their families through the Ronald McDonald House. This year, the globally popular XG has become a special supporter. They will promote the limited-time set menu 'BLUE GALAXY SET', selected by the members, and a live streaming event '#RealTimeMacParty' to enhance 'Blue Mac Day'. This year marks the 9th year of Mac Happy Day and the 4th year of 'Blue Mac Day', allowing participation through various methods such as in-store donations, donation-inclusive sets, and purchasing Happy Sets (for Happy Sets, donations will be made by Japan McDonald's Corporation or its franchise corporations). The donations will be given to the public interest foundation Ronald McDonald House Charities Japan (DMHC). In preparation for October 19 (Sunday), McDonald's stores will be decorated with blue balloons and decorations, the theme color supporting DMHC (some stores excluded), and will provide takeout bags and cold drink cups in a limited blue design for all sizes (excluding plastic cups). This year, XG has been appointed as the special supporter for 'Blue Mac Day', marking their comeback since the #RealTimeMacParty in March. From October 1 (Wednesday) to October 31 (Friday), the original set menu 'BLUE GALAXY SET', combining the favorite McDonald's menu items of XG members, will be available through mobile orders and McDelivery services. The 'BLUE GALAXY SET' will feature combinations from three units of members. By ordering a donation-inclusive set, participants can contribute to the charity for 'Blue Mac Day' (non-donation options are also available). Ahead of 'Blue Mac Day', on October 15 (Wednesday), a special version of '#RealTimeMacParty' will be held, allowing fans to enjoy a real-time party with their favorite menu items while watching a live stream. During '#BlueRealTimeMacParty', XG members will eat the 'BLUE GALAXY SET', introduce their favorite alien avatars, share videos of their visit to the Ronald McDonald House, and engage viewers with 'TAP THE BLUE HEART'. Additionally, selected alien avatars will be invited as extras to the fictional store 'McDonald's GALAXY' during the '#BlueRealTimeMacParty'. In an interview, XG members expressed pride in supporting children facing illness and their families through this event, aiming to deliver love and energy to those in need.
