In Japan, to commemorate the release of BABYMONSTER's 3rd mini-album 'CHOOM' on May 5 (Tuesday, holiday), the event 'Let's CHOOM' was held in Harajuku, Jingumae from May 8 (Friday) to May 10 (Sunday). '춤 (CHOOM)' means 'dance' in Korean. In line with the song's message of wishing for everyone to let go to the rhythm and dance freely together, the entrance of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando 'Omokado' was decorated entirely in BABYMONSTER's theme, featuring a dance and photo booth modeled after the latest solo artist photos of 'CHOOM'. About 3000 people participated over the three days. On the first day, May 8 (Friday), KRUNK, the character from YG ENTERTAINMENT JAPAN, which BABYMONSTER belongs to, appeared and showcased street dance at the dance booth. Not only BABYMONSTER fans but also passersby were engaged, and KRUNK greatly enlivened 'CHOOM'. Then, on the weekend of May 9 (Saturday) to May 10 (Sunday), a dance event was held for two days only. Top dancers active in Japan and abroad gathered in Harajuku, Jingumae. Dancers who are active in popular artists' choreography, live tours, and music video appearances performed special solo performances created for 'CHOOM'. Additionally, there were special performance times featuring professional ballet dancers, traditional Japanese dancers, and gal dancers performing Para Para, showcasing a variety of stunning 'dances'. The addictive song and unique performances quickly drew crowds to 'Omokado', where many spectators stopped to enjoy the excitement, and there were even spontaneous dance performances by attendees, transforming the event space into one that embodied the theme of enjoying the moment and dancing freely to the music. Furthermore, during the three days of the event, BABYMONSTER's ad trucks also ran in the Harajuku and Shibuya areas, making it an event where BABYMONSTER truly took over Harajuku and Jingumae. Following last year, BABYMONSTER's world tour will also be held this year, with initial events planned not only in Asia and North America but also in South America, Oceania, and Europe. BABYMONSTER continues to capture the world with unstoppable momentum, and they remain a focal point of attention.
