Naun from April and Bomin from Golden Child co-starred for the first time in 6 years. On the 21st, a production presentation for the short-form drama 'My Little Chef' was held at the Starfield Goyang Central Atrium in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province. 'My Little Chef' depicts the story of Choi Noma, the heir of Korea's largest restaurant group, who loses everything overnight and grows into a true leader through an unusual cooking competition mission, showcasing a dramatic harmony of cooking, competition, love, family, and growth. Naun is cast as the protagonist Choi Noma, while Bomin plays the other lead, Teu. The role of Noma's cooking school classmate Doyun is played by CIX's Hyunseok, and Noma's cousin Miri is played by FANATICS' Kim Doah. Naun stated, 'I focused on portraying a bright and positive character with a human side. This is my first short-form drama, and I approached it with a sense of responsibility to express various emotions in a short time.' Director Kim Sang-hoon said, 'I was thinking about how to set the characters based on the game original, but during the first script reading, I felt Naun was Noma. She performed well from the first line, and I thought it would be good to base the drama on her.' Bomin mentioned, 'Meeting the character Teu was the most challenging while reading the script. I had many conversations with the director during preparation and filming to find out how to express Teu.' Director Kim Sang-hoon commented on Bomin, 'Teu is the most difficult character among the cast. He has secrets and calculates everything. Teu's attitude towards Noma changes drastically, which is challenging. The results reflected the effort put into conversations. He needed to lead the atmosphere with his gaze, and he did well, creating a tense and romantic atmosphere.' Naun shared about co-starring with Bomin, 'We reunited after 6 years, but thankfully there was no awkwardness, and it was comfortable. In the drama, I call Bomin 'older brother,' even though he is younger in reality. That part was awkward and difficult, but it came naturally when I focused. I practiced that part intensively.' 'My Little Chef' is a project conducted through a strategic partnership between GRAMPUS and Joy Company, a video and AI production studio. Based on the content of the game 'My Little Chef,' which has about 50 million downloads in the global market, Joy Company has created a visual effects axis using video production and AI, aiming to showcase videos for the short-form platform.
