JxJ, the new unit by SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua, will unfold a “dreamscape” that breaks the boundary of dreams with the new song “12 o'clock.” JxJ revealed the track list for their 1st mini album, “DREAMSCAPE,” on SEVENTEEN’s official SNS at 0:00 today (the 7th). According to this, the new release will include a total of seven songs: the title track “12 o'clock,” as well as “Like you,” “Outside,” “One plus one,” “Not personal (Joshua solo),” “Coloring (Jeonghan solo),” and “No looking back.” Among them, the one drawing the most anticipation is “12 o'clock.” It depicts JxJ chasing the object of their desire in a dream while moving back and forth between 12 noon and 12 midnight. BUMZU, a producer and artist who has long teamed up with SEVENTEEN, helped with the lyrics and composition, increasing the level of completion. In the trailer for the new album released earlier, a clock pointing to 12 o’clock appeared repeatedly, stimulating CARAT’s curiosity. The new album also includes Jeonghan and Joshua’s solo songs. Jeonghan included “Coloring (Jeonghan solo),” in which he participated in writing the lyrics, on the album. Joshua not only took part in writing and composing “Not Personal (Joshua solo),” but also had his name listed in the credits for the final track of the album, “No looking back.” “DREAMSCAPE,” to be released on the 19th of this month, is an album that depicts a scene in which the unconscious fantasy that blossoms during sleep and the boundary with the ideal one wants to achieve in reality collapse. It expresses through diverse music the process in which two dream worlds endlessly interlock and collide, like the ancient mythological Ouroboros, which bites its own tail and becomes a ring, and expand. Following the release of the new album, JxJ will hold a solo performance, “JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING],” in six cities in Japan and overseas. The tour will begin at Incheon Inspire Arena from the 31st of this month to the 1st of next month, and then is scheduled to continue with performances in Saitama, Macau, Taipei, Busan, and Hong Kong.
