The cover and back cover of the temporary special edition of the October issue of "JUNON" are graced by AEN, who were selected through an audition and achieved their long-awaited global debut in Japan and Korea at the same time. Apparently, this was their first magazine interview. Having met across national borders, they say, "The more we got to know each other, the more we came to like each other," and their bond is the strongest. Their solo interviews, which dig into the personalities of them performing cool and cute songs happily, and the roundtable discussion that conveys how much they respect one another are must-sees. *Below is an excerpt from the interview—Please tell us what AEN has that other groups cannot beat! Kyuhyun: Visuals! Everyone: Ohhh~! Kyuhyun: When this group was formed, everyone was so handsome that I was sure it would go well. There are members with many different charms, from beautiful people to cute people and even dignified people, so I thought many people would come to like us. And not only are their visuals good, but everyone’s hearts are also very warm. They are very good friends to me as well, so I think it will be a good group. Haruto: Their performance is also really good. They are pushing themselves hard in both dance and singing, and no matter where you look—visuals, singing, dancing—there is nothing inferior about them! Haru: At the time of formation, because there were many cute kids, I thought we would sing songs with a CUTE concept. But we were always talking about wanting to sing cool songs. Then, when I listened to the songs included on THE 1ST EP, I was so impressed because they were so cool! We were never constantly asking the staff for it, but I’m happy it seems our wish came true (laughs). We will continue singing cool songs, so please pay attention to our performances. And this time, the cover and back cover of the special edition of the October issue of "JUNON" are graced by the seven members of ME:I. Under the theme of "HAPPY SUMMER," they appear in colorful yukata! In addition to talking about things they want this summer and songs they want to listen to in summer, they also deliver unit talks divided into three groups: SUZU x MOMONA x RINON, TSUZUMI x AYANE, and KEIKO x MIU. A roundtable interview with all members also covers summer-related topics, as well as their currently on-sale 4th single "Hanasaku Michi" and their ongoing arena tour "2026 ME:I 2ND ARENA LIVE TOUR 'ME:I WAY.'" The special edition featuring the seven on the cover includes a special bonus, the "Mikaeri ME:I Photo Card," which lets readers enjoy a "looking-back beauty" pose unique to yukata. Be sure to check it out. *Below is an excerpt from the interview—What are ME:I’s summer memories? MIU: Los Angeles. Right after our debut, we were able to appear at "KCON LA 2024," and going there together was so much fun. KEIKO: It was really a fun memory for me too. Everyone was so excited. MOMONA: For me, it was an outdoor music festival. I sweated so much, but it was really fun. It’s a good memory. SUZU: Wherever I go, it ends up raining on me. But at the outdoor festival, even while being rained on, I was able to perform happily, and I remember it being exciting. RINON: For me, the audition program we participated in before our debut was filmed in the height of summer, so I strongly remember it as being tough. AYANE: That’s true, it was tough. My personal summer memory is also Los Angeles. It was my first time overseas, so it left a strong impression. I remember how much fun everyone seemed to be having, and I was shocked by how the sea breeze felt different from Japan’s—it was so dry. MOMONA: Overall, there’s no humidity; it’s dry. MIU: We talk about that every time we go to the beach. TSUZUMI: Mine is Los Angeles too. Eating together with everyone was so much fun. KEIKO: The one where meat just keeps coming out no matter how much you eat, right? TSUZUMI: Yes (laughs)! It was a restaurant where they cut churrasco at the table, and eating together was really fun. M!LK’s Sano Hayato and Yoshida Jinto appear in the October issue of "JUNON"! The fifth installment of M!LK’s "Mōretsu Mōshin! Release Project 2026," which delivers a furious stream of new songs from April to August, is their moist adult love song "Tsumi to Batsu to Ame to Kiss". The magazine closely follows the thrilling MV shoot. In addition, the regular edition of the October issue of "JUNON" includes a special pinup (thick paper poster) bonus! It delivers double-sided printed photos of the two in the visual for "Tsumi to Batsu to Ame to Kiss." *Below is an excerpt from the interview—Is there anything so cute you’d want to kiss it? Sano Hayato: No (laughs). If imagination is okay, I think animals are cute. The white snake that was at today’s shoot was cute too. By the way, during filming, it came into my mouth. So, in a way, I was kissed by a snake (laughs). *An episode with the snake that appeared in the "Tsumi to Batsu to Ame to Kiss" MV Yoshida Jinto: Huh? I basically don’t think things are cute (laughs). Animals are cute, but that doesn’t happen in my daily life. If I think about works I’ve seen recently... droids. I’ve been watching the "Star Wars" series all along, and as for C-3PO and R2-D2, they’re a little clumsy, cool, and reliable. But there are other droids too. They’re really cute. Suzuki Ryohei and Akaso Eiji from the theatrical film "TOKYO MER: Running Emergency Room: CAPITAL CRISIS" appear in the October issue of "JUNON"! In the latest work where the new TOKYO MER begins, a special dialogue was realized between Suzuki Ryohei, who plays Chief Kitami, and Akaso Eiji, who joins the series for the first time as the new member Ogi. The words overflowing with a straight, sincere love for acting from the two, who try to protect lives with immeasurable love, are a must-read. *Below is an excerpt from the interview—Ryohei-san knows a lot about animals. If you were to compare the two of you to animals? Suzuki Ryohei: Akaso-kun is like a cute pug-type dog. His eyes are round and cute, right? Akaso Eiji: Ryohei-san is... what would he be? In the anime "GO! GO! TOKYO MER Emergency Situation Fighting Friends," which deforms the MER members into animals, Chief Kitami is a gorilla... Suzuki Ryohei: Stop (laughs)! What animal comes to mind right now? Akaso Eiji: In "The Lion King," what was the animal that sang "Hakuna Matata" again? Suzuki Ryohei: You mean Pumbaa the warthog? Akaso Eiji: Huh!? Was that a warthog (sweat)? Suzuki Ryohei: But in reality, warthogs aren’t that big. So that’s not me. Akaso Eiji: Then, in terms of size, how about a rhino? Suzuki Ryohei: Nice! Which rhino, black or white? Akaso Eiji: You’re so knowledgeable... Then black rhino! Suzuki Ryohei: Nice. By the way, rhinos are endangered species. Akaso Eiji: Really! I’m overwhelmed by how much you know. Suzuki Ryohei: But considering that careful setup just now, I think you should have said gorilla there! I wanted you to get it (laughs). Akaso Eiji: Sorry (laughs)! In the October issue of "JUNON," Inukai Atsuhiro appears! Since spring of this year, Inukai Atsuhiro has stepped into a new stage. For more than ten years, he has been racing through the entertainment world, and now he is steadily taking steps at the speed he himself thinks is right. His way of living is told by his relaxed, gentle smile. We asked about the recent status of the dazzlingly natural Inukai Atsuhiro. *Below is an excerpt from the magazine—In the past few months, I went to Tokushima Zoo in my hometown Tokushima Prefecture, Korea, DisneySea, and Paris. Until now, I had a regular live broadcast program once a week, so it was hard to get more than six consecutive days off. Since it was a rare chance, I thought I’d go to various places I’d always wanted to visit. Paris had been a dream destination for a long time because of movies and manga. I went to the Louvre Museum, and of course I wanted to meet the world’s most famous woman, the Mona Lisa, at least once (laughs). When I was in my teens and twenties, I honestly wasn’t that interested in art, but now that I’m 30, I feel like I’ve come to understand the fun of appreciating paintings. I also went to the Arc de Triomphe, and it was about five times bigger than I had imagined. I walked down the Champs-Élysées humming that famous song (laughs). It was a sense of freedom you can’t experience in Japan. When working in Tokyo, you are the one being watched, but overseas it was fresh to be able to feel the excitement of being the one who watches, like, "This is the thing I saw in that!" Katori Shingo appears in the October issue of "JUNON"! This month, in line with the name "Shingo," they asked 45 questions in depth about his latest basic knowledge, such as "If you describe your personality in one word, what is it?" and "What is your first word when answering the phone?" *Below is an excerpt from the interview—What is your first word when answering the phone? Katori Shingo: "Yes." In a normal, calm tone. It’s about the same "yes" as Mr. Koji Yamamoto. Calls don’t come from people who have to speak in a tone like "Yesss!" (laughs). —Do you properly put on sunscreen? Katori Shingo: I used to be the type who properly put it on, but lately I’ve somehow gotten into a weird mood of "Eh, maybe not this year!" (laughs). I’ve stopped putting it on properly, so that’s not good.
