She is discovered by North Korean soldier Ri Jeong-hyeok, but when Se-ri realizes she has ended up in North Korea, she tries to escape. However, she ends up in a North Korean military village. Ri Jeong-hyeok saves her from being found and hides her in his home. When it is discovered that Se-ri is at Jeong-hyeok's house, he lies that she is his fiancée and a South Korean spy. As they spend time together, they develop feelings for each other despite being citizens of enemy states. However, Jeong-hyeok has a real fiancée, Seo Dan, and Se-ri's former fiancé, Gu Seung-jun, also ends up in North Korea. Se-ri's brothers, who are trying to outmaneuver her to make their younger sister the successor, do not want her to return to South Korea. Will Yoon Se-ri be able to return to South Korea?
